Strangers of Power - Trancevania DLC

The DLC expansion for Strangers of the Power. It adds one new character - Chandra, who the game describes as "very advanced" but is basically just a melee character who can actually do damage unlike the core game's Seraphine - and a new dungeon level that you can access near the end of the game, right before going to the final level of the dungeon. If you're going to be playing Strangers of the Power, I recommend this, even though I still don't really recommend picking up the base game.

[h1]No, there are no rave Belmonts here...just an extension if you need a bit more.[/h1] [i]Strangers of Power - Trancevania[/i] is a small expansion pack for [i]Strangers of the Power[/i] that includes a new secret dungeon, a new duo to play as, and a few new endings along with bonus items for completing the bonus dungeon (depending on whether or not you talk to the nun at the beginning of it). This is a must-have if you want another pair to play as or want a mini-dungeon to go through near the end of the game. I would also recommend it if you want to 100% this game...as it is necessary. In terms of the duo, I love their writing and their interactions, but Chandra is the one who steals the show in terms of battle. Isabel is the maid to the vampiress (not too much unlike Sakuya to Remilia of [i]Touhou 6: Embodiment of the Scarlet Devil[/i]), but in battle, she's mostly healing, casting defense spells, or casting minor attack spells, which all pale in comparison to Chandra's fighting prowess. Chandra's fighting style is unique to the other duos where she can create a massive enemy debuff at the cost of her health, dual wield with a double attack with one arm and a bonus attack with the other arm, and a unique critical that seemingly attack four times WITH the bonus of sapping the life out of the enemy. While I say Maiya can become broken like hell in the vanilla game if used right, Chandra is simply fun to play as, making it hard for me to choose which of the two characters is more fun. So, if you're looking for more content, I'd say that this DLC is right up your alley. If you didn't like [i]Strangers of the Power[/i], then this DLC might not be for you. Personally, I felt that this was a dollar well spent. 6/10 No, this isn't [i]RPG Maker[/i] [i]Touhou[/i] either...
