This is my favorite turn based game of all time. The fun surprises throughout are perfect. I keep coming back to this game.

The wintery stormy setting gets old, much prefer the Cali/Arizona region. But game is gud.

This game is fucking infuriating! About 20 hours into this game the mission log cleared and is now completely empty, as if I made no progress. The NPCs who have given me missions are acting like they’ve never seen me, and if I’ve completed the quests they are trying to give me them again. And apparently my game can’t be fixed. This is unbelievable! Uninstalling because fuck this!

Game breaking bug that completely emptied mission log - appears to be an issue for others as well

This game is almost great. I like the mood and the style, but the game just isn't done. I had to re-load and re-do several missions because of some quest bug, or softlock. Today I encountered yet another, and with that my, my time with this game is over. it's such a shame. At its core, it's a good game. So if you're willing to accept the bugs or research workarounds: go for it. But I cannot in good faith recommend it.

I like the Wasteland series. And I have enjoyed Wasteland 3 for 50 hours now and I still seem to be far away from the end of the main quest. HOWEVER, I realized that the game does not seem to be supported anymore, even though there are bugs that affect the gameplay (e.g. random encounters). So far, the bugs limit the experience, but are not game breaking. Bur, it is a shame that inXile has abandoned the support for a fun game although there are known bugs and, nevertheless, continues selling it for 33.99€ (!). So, you can buy it during a sale and have fun with it, but with certain limitations.

Wasteland 1 was one of the inspirations for Fallout, but in spite of that its revivals feel a lot like "Fallout, but with fewer ideas." That's Wasteland 3's biggest problem: weak identity. It's all good from there, however. This is an extremely solid CRPG with interesting combat, good systems, and a ton of reactivity. If it had a more solid 'hook' it could stand with the classics of the genre. Instead it will have to settle for being very good but not particularly memorable.

This game is much like the earlier Fallout classics, but with a more fleshed out and satisfying combat. It can be buggy at times but generally speaking it works well on pretty much any machine I played it on. The humor is a highlight of this game. The characters in the game are fleshed out and feel real, with their quirks and stances. The story is satisfying and had me second guessing my choices consistently till the very end. The focus on combat can be somewhat daunting and the battles in the beginning can drag on for way too long, but even on the hard difficulty, 90% of the ending fights are just total wipes. The progression system is nice, but the game gives you too much loot which you can sell, you will never be out of money or out of bullets. You can build good min-maxing characters which will be useful almost all of the time, the trick is to build a well rounded team, where each character specializes in a combat skill and 2 non-combat skills. All in all, a decently fun experience. Would run through it again on the hardest difficulty and different party members.

Its a pretty good game with x-com style combat then why didnt i recommend it. its because of the bugs, from not being able to save to enemy models disappearing to skill points disappearing and much more. i can still recommend the game if you get it at an heavy discount
