Very enjoyable game-play, awesome graphics, great story-line. I was wondering what game to play next and searched a Reddit post and found this. I felt so sad once I though the game was over but woo-wee I am not even close to finishing it. Something you can constantly play and not get bored of. You'll start itching to know the next part of the story and get more and more excited to complete each challenge. 10/10 recommend.

Keeping this short and simple, Outriders is more than worth it on a sale. It has all the feel of an average third-person looter shooter. There isn't much negative I could say about the overall gameplay.
That being said, this is basically just a more casual version of "Remnant: Rise From the Ashes" with the added bonus of everything being nearly on rails in tight, condensed maps.
I only have three really big complaints with the game:
1. Optimization is absolute dog water. Frame rate drops and stutters are frequent even when I drop everything to the lowest quality, and even then the use of certain powers guaranteed a significant, jarring stutter and frame rate drop. This stuttering can end a run prematurely when you're getting horded.
2. The story is so shallow, and the characters even more so. Who is who? Why are they who they are? When did they get there? How did they come to be? What is their overall purpose? At no point did I make any emotional connection to any of the main supporting characters, and that wasn't for lack of trying. Plot and dialogue in this game just aren't anything to write home about, and you could remove most of the characters from the team with little to no effect on the story.
3. Drop rates are absolutely dismal, and even after a full 24 hours in-game I still do not have a single full set of armor. To make matters worse, I have a mod enabled to give me 100% Legendary drop rate and I still don't have a complete set. At least give a full set for completing the main/DLC story quest line, or specific missions we can run to get guaranteed set types reliably.
If you're the type of person who cares about story and immersing through complex character customization, you could skip out on this game without missing much. However, if you have some friends to play with and you want some mindless, shooty, grind-for-loot adventure then I suggest this game on sale for sure.
My professional opinion: 6/10, better with friends.

Awesome game. But would've been better if there's freedom to roam the map and not being too linear

The main things i like about this game are the build-crafting potential and having an being able to freely custimize your character.

Passable story, it gets the job done if not a little cheesy. Really good third person shooter with great classes and multiple builds, gear, and crafting with decent but grindy end game to get the optimal gear for your build. Its kind of like a Destiny, but 3rd person. I think its better than its average reviews.

Very unrated. I played it at launch on Gamepass for Free. Finished the campaign once. I enjoyed it. Now, they added all kinds of new things. Complete edition for just $20 buck . I'm really enjoying the second play through. It run great on my system. 3080 and 5700x3d.

The most fun I've had playing a video game in a very long time. First game I have stayed up late playing since I was a kid.

Played with a group from level 1-15 (out of 30) . One member of our group spontaneously lost their character. Has to restart. We're told there is no way to save characters('it's on a server, not local, can't be backed up), and that this bug has been there since the game's release.
That's unconscionable for a game to not provide local saves and have bugs that wipe characters. Can't ever recommend a game like that.
