It's the Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon of the Mount and Blade engine games, with a surprisingly great storyline and intriguing storyline, lots of the classic mount and blade action, and all of the memes from Caraibeans! Highly recommended if already a fan of Warband and needing to find a new total conversion to play. Especially since we're entering inception territories (Total conversion of a total conversion of a total conversion).
11/10 would get eaten by zombies again.

Dont buy this. In siege of coro i got stucked, i cannot go out of town and quest does not let me go forward. I dont believe that i paid for this crap. Even if it wasnt buggy the whole thing is just poorly done. There is much more better mods and they are FREE.

This is garbage. It might be a funny joke but should not be for sale.
I don't even think the play time tracker is working for this, good maybe I can get a refund!
If you have companion hold position they don't use their ranged weapon.
If you get damaged you can't rest properly in a settlement to recover.
If you don't top the mauradurs in the starting quest they become a large party you can't beat as you cannot recruit anyone at that time.
The unarmed zombies can block.... why?
So you expect a player to wack all these zombies with hoe for 12 exp and take 0 damage to survive the muarader quest before being able to get any more equipment or troops?
Funny, yes hah hah your arrows don't come back after battle, oh so hardcore.
This shouldn't be sold.

Its as if Cheech and Chong purposly made a terrible yet fun DLC for a terrible yet fun game... But I dont think pirates used the word "chill" to discribe getting stoned for several months and dancing naked with a creepy old Aztec shaman. For $7 I would pass on this, for $5 I would buy it... barely, but for the $2.09 I got it for... im pretty pleased with it. 7/10 for good lolz.

honestly if you are a veteran MnB player you will probably enjoy this. Funny take on this engine. Good story.
If you have never ever played a MnB mod before than it would be understandable that you would find this a strange DLC. I enjoyed it. You can get a 5h fun out of this. For 2 dollars on sale... Thats the price of a Beer here and thats fun for 10mins.
Tip: Save a lot, especially the beginning is hard. Once you get your first shield and steel armour ( just beeline for it, you can absorb almost all the zombie damage ) it's easy to kite al the zombies.

The base game is already heavily degraded compared to Mount & Blade but this DLC takes it to the whole another level.
Negative points:
First of all you cannot hire any troops inhame, only two companions.
-No ammo refill. I couldn't find ammo anywhere unless I manage to stealthly kill some bandits.
-Lack of goods, armors, weapons that merchant sells. Seriously, why we even need money if we can't but anything meaningful.
-Lazy zombie design and animations. Only a few skins for female zombies and one skin for male zombies and one melee animation.
-Some bandit towns are impossible to enter during fight due to closed main doors which softlocks the game.
-No horses despite there's skills tied to them.
-Some talents are useless due to them tied to player troops. (There's no player troops at all, excluding companions)
-Degraded skill tree
-Absense of ships and sea areas. In a game about pirates and colonies there's no ships and almost no sea actions at all. What a shame!
-No loot after defeating enemy squads. Even for bandits and natives.
-Almost no reward for defending a settlement. I recall getting some fish food for defending a plantation.
-Way many enemies in a towns and small settlements. Too hard to fight bandits and natives with ranged weapons.
-Dull boring quests and stupid dialogues. Only a few were interesting,
-Too short and a terrible ending. The final dialogues were stupid and meaningless due to single outcome.
-It's the same map and same models, textures and sounds with the base game, Only small amount of new oontent were added.
-There's to many zombie squads in some areas. This will lead to endless fight with zombie hordes due to low player speed during night time.
-Too many bugs:
*You can raid towns and it's a thing from base game as it will show B&G:C town location with original civilians and troops. At the end of the raid you will get insane amount of money. It's basically a cheat.
*There's one mission with infiltrating enemy base and getting quest item. At the end of the mission you willl LOSE YOUR ALL OF YOUR EQUIPPED WEAPONS. I lost my favorite two handed sword, really good one handed sword and unique multi charged carabine. Most infuriating thing from DLC.
Positive points:
New unique weapons such as hand cannon, multi charged carabine, shotgun pistol.
Driveable balloon. One of the most unique and amazing stuff I saw in MB mods, DLCs.
You can get some top tier valuable equipments by liberating hostile settlements or opening loot chest during missions.
Overall rating: 3/10
It has some unique staff that should be ported to base game as a mod, as for the DLC it's bland, boring and short. Empty world and repeating gameplay.

Ok first of all BOO to all you people who got this removed in the first place.
Second YAY for the descicion to bring it back as Blood & Gold DLC.
Now the review:
I am a long standing fan of Mount & Blade (original, warband+napoleonic wars+viking conquest, and with fire and sword) as well as Caribbean (later Blood & Gold Caribbean) I have found the engine to be a versatile means to make great open world games with or without plot, where you can really do things your way.
Zombiest Adventures is another game built on the same engine, I believe it is unique and well made. I enjoy the character interactions and as always the battles. I really think that a zombie game is a great idea for this engine and I want all teams using this engine (and hopefully soon, the bannerlord engine) to continue to produce great games. People say zombiest adventures was a bad call, I strongly disagree.
I know this isn't one of my really good reviews, but I am just happy that I am finally able to add Zombiest Adventures to my collection and really hope that bad reviews don't deter the team from making more games.
Great work everyone, keep 'em coming!
