Canvas Quest Reviews
Canvas Quest is a turn-based JRPG made in RPGMaker MV. The game features an artstyle based around poorly made digital and physical art, featuring stickman characters and an abundance of obvious perfect circles and lines. Journey with Bob and friends to rid the world of the Evil King.

Surprisingly Addictive!
To be blunt, I'm not an RPG fan, I usually consider games like Final Fantasy too long to play with a convoluted story. Which probably explains why I like this one, because it is so simple and basic. I only planned to play for an hour, but ended up playing over a few days. It was surprisingly decent with good characters, enemies, and locations. Definitely worth it for anyone who just wants to play a simple RPG.

I had originally given this game a negative review since I had a progression blocking glitch happen to me, however the developer has been extremely helpful in addressing this issue for me and was able to personally guide me through a solution so I could complete the game to 100% and finish my achievements as well. There are some design choices that are rough around the edges but there's actually an interesting and challenging battle system with a pretty good variety of enemies and equipment that force you to think about your choices tactically. If you're someone like me who loves the JRPG genre and graphics aren't something you fixate on, there's fun to be had here if you want a smaller scale adventure with a rewarding progression system and something a bit different.
