A special kind of game, with a lot of charm and a good/fun gameplay loop

Non raggiunge l'altezza di Milkman Conspiracy (poche cose al mondo la raggiungono), ma è senza dubbio un degno successore di uno dei giochi più originali di sempre. Un difficile secondo album che comunque dimostra incredibile creatività.

Psychonauts 2 is a wild, creative ride from start to finish. The world-building is awesome, with each new level feeling like a unique little universe full of quirky characters and surreal visuals. The story is heartfelt and funny, balancing lighthearted moments with some surprisingly deep themes. The platforming is solid, and the powers you get to play with are super fun to experiment with. It’s clear a lot of love went into making this game, and it shows in the small details. Overall, it’s a blast to play and a really satisfying follow-up to the first game. If you like quirky, imaginative games with a lot of heart, this one’s for you.

As a whole game, it's fun, creative (level wise), and visually stunning. However, any NPC that isn't from the original game is insufferably rude and mean spirited. Kinda disappointed in DoubleFine's writing with this game as well because the writing was subpar and clunky at times as Raz's classmates jump from hating him to liking him within the course of 5 minutes. That being said, Helmut and Bob are the best non-og characters. Also it's cool that photomode has a practical use in the end game.

Definetly recommend this game, it's incredible maybe even slightly better than the first Psychonauts.

Almost as good as the first one, which, given how good the first one was, is honestly an astounding achievement.

Awesome game - it's funny, interesting and has a suprisingly deep and meaningful world building system. I love to explore the levels and finding everything - it's very satisfying. Would recommend it!

Amazing game. To me this one does feel different than the first game, it seems like this one is more serious. There are still funny moments but it just seemed like there were less in this one. Granted the more serious tone works for this game and I think the brains you visit are generally better and more fleshed out. They address actual issues rather than being playgrounds for cool concepts. There seemed to be less of a focus on platforming in this game than the first. The combat definitely gets more focus which is OK as the combat is better, but I would have liked to have seen more complex platforming. Overall its a great sequel and does what a Psychonauts game should. I'm excited to see what comes next in this world and this story.

What a masterpiece! It definitely deserves a whole separate show that's how good the story is. Somewhat reminds of a great Sci-Fi movie, "Inception". There were many long cut scenes that are worth watching alone. I think it's very unique in this genre and I totally recommend it.

Psychonauts 2 is everything the original did right and more, more minds to explore, better platforming and collectables, a much more fluid and fun combat and a deep and memorable story with tons of great characters . The story is miles better than the original in my opinion specially at the beginning and near the end and the twist at the end really caught me off guard. Everything about this game is crafted with so much love and care that you won't get bored for a second and i can say it has become one of my all time favourite games.
