Cool Game, Cool Devs, Cool sound track.

Bought it only to support the devs. And encourage them to make a follow-up to this odd and wonderful game. One of the rare gems of gaming. It must have a more memorable fate !

I am finding it hard to change the stance of the unit from prone, (crawling around) to get up and walk, or run again. They seem to be stuck once they start crawling. Can you please fix this. Great game!

Yeah, at 1st: The OST is very nice. Some track are more ambient, some are action loaded kind-of dubstep/electro. Most of them with some arbaic influence. I love it! The 2 Bonus tracks are russian rock at its best - only these are worth the price. as 2nd: I would pay 10$ just to support the devs. Vuck you, c_y_k_a western world!

Are about four bucks reasonable for a video game OST with 20 tracks? I guess in regard of supporting the developers it's a good move. Furthermore the original mp3 files in the game folder are encrypted, so you can't extract the tracks from the game alone. In addition to that there are two exclusive vocal tracks featured in this OST. Speaking of the soundtrack per se, it is surprisingly good and worth having it downloaded as DLC. One quarter of the tracks remind me of the oriental-themed tunes from [i]Command & Conquer - Generals[/i], giving a sense of tenseness and rugged warfare in the middle east. My favorite tracks from this part are [b]Arrive[/b], [b]Warbeat[/b], [b]Lovely Syria[/b] or [b]Etudes of War[/b]. The second quarter are rather tracks of electronic nature with a harsh vibe of urban warfare. These tracks particularly dominated the Damascus suburbs mission in the game, therefore I associate these tunes with a lot of work and trial-and-error, haha. While they are absolutely solid tracks, I «only» find them OK - maybe since I'm not really into electronic music. Typical tracks are for instance [b]Battle Pulse[/b] or [b]Guntrack[/b]. Another quarter of the soundtrack are progressive rock tunes with a more uplifting vibe. Some of them surprisingly remind me of Vietnam-era rock tunes - perfect for blowing up some pixel terrorists. Quite some earworms too. [b]Valley of Death[/b], [b]We are not alone[/b] or [b]The Great Deliverance[/b] are such tracks worth mentioning. The last remaining quarter have more of a post-apocalyptical, hopeless and tactical vibe. I associate these tracks with the commando aspects of the game (for example the part with the GRU team in the Hama mission). These tunes would be ideal for listening to while driving through the desert or Russian taiga. Great tracks are [b]There Way Ahead[/b], [b]Homeland[/b] or [b]Machine Squad Leader[/b]. The last two remaining tracks are actually two genuine Russian Rock songs by [i]Artyom Grishanov[/i], who agreed to let the developers use two of his previous songs for the soundtrack. If you followed the Russian media perspective in the recent years you may already know his music videos of [b]Умираю, но не сдаюсь / Dying But Not Surrendering[/b] and [b]Русская буря / Russian Storm[/b]. I especially like the latter, of which the instrumental version is being played in the final mission of the game. A great conclusion of the soundtrack in my opinion. To put it in a nutshell, I keep this soundtrack dear to me since it awakes some good memories from the game. Even though the game was sometimes tough as nails and quite unforgiving, the relaxing soundtrack in the background always managed to cool me down again. I therefore recommend it.

Great sountrack, however i cannot see it in my player? Guess thats due to removal of the main game. Yes, f uc k Valve, f uc k western censorship!
