One great tower defense game. Featuring a great concept, the game puts you on the floor fighting to get plastic toy soldiers into a crack that is the enemies lair. Fighting against you, are various types of bugs, spiders, etc. The game starts simple and then expands with harder enemies, better enemy tactics, etc.. but avoids the main problem I have with these types of games, becoming too hard before the end to the point I just give up. This did not ever do that. It stayed relatively simple throughout.. but was very enjoyable. Overall, it is a fun short VR tower defense game and one I really enjoyed. I suggest trying it out next time it is on sale, since it only cost a few bucks.

Wow! What a great game. Just when I was getting sick of TD and wave shooters comes something truly unique. This is scary as hell and a LOT of fun.

You are playing as someone who is having a nightmare and you are stuck waist deep in the floor, an evil spider queen is sending her hatchlings (and various other insects) to you and you need to defend yourself with various object that you collect in your environment.
The basic gameplay is okay (it is fun to watch the little toy soldiers walk over every surface and fight the spiders), it is what it is: a wave shooter with some tower defense elements, but very few games had me as motivated to not fail as this game. I don't have that much of a problem with spiders in real life but the nasty black creatures in this game make me quite nervous and I'll be fighting pretty hard to keep them away from my face.
Only gripe I have with the game is that the angle some of the weapons are using is wrong, the grip of the nailgun etc. should properly align with the grip of the Vive wands.

This is an appropriately priced game for casuals and younger folk. It's a bit too simple to excite us experienced gamers.
Took me 90 minutes to beat all levels. Would have been closer to 60 minutes if it didn't crash around five times.

Valve Index Review.
I got this game because the yt videos looked fun, but I can not get past the first level.
The first thing they ask you to do, is to tryout the grappling hook, to grab a box.
Using the grappling hook crashes the game.
Left handed or right handed, in a box, or the wall, or the floor, or the door, this game crashes at this point, and kicks you to the steam library.
After checking the discussions, there seems to be no replies from the Devs. It's understandable considering the game is 5 years old.
So....
Be warned: This game crashes before you can even start the waves of bugs.
I have seen comments about this also happening on other controllers, so it's not just the Index, and no one in the comment section seems to have come up with a solution, so.... if you buy this, do not get your hopes up.
Try to get past the first level introduction. If you crash, you are hosed, and will need to refund because there is no work-around.
just prepare yourself.

I have fond memories of playing a game from my childhood when I first got a VR headset, the Samsung one. Recently, when I upgraded to an Oculus 2 headset, I was eager to revisit the game and was disappointed to discover that it wasn't compatible. It would mean a lot to me if the game could be updated to support Oculus 2, allowing me to relive those cherished moments. If that's not possible, I'm open to exploring similar games that are compatible with my new headset. Any recommendations or guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Really good game plagued by crashes and developer abandonment. I haven't played in 7 months and have the same crashes as before.

Great experience. Very creepy. Very scary. Nice options inside game. Nice level progression. Almost a pick-up and play. when a Spider jumped on my brother's face, his reaction was a all time favorite family memory. So good, I also bought it for my Oculus Go. Have shared the experience with many friends. Great game.

From 🙇 Child's perspective of bug warfare, deploy your Army Men and use toys to defeat the insect invaders & their Queen. Fantastic VR Game 😍😍
✔️ Great Graphics, Sound and Story Line
✔️ Single Controller Action really works well here
✔️ More Challenging as you progress along
❌ I Hate Bugs, but dammit this has Greatest Jump Scares❗

I always see people commenting that there is no AAA games for VR, me on the other hand I love indie titles they seem to have much more freedom to made any game they wish and so many indie titles are hidden games waiting to be found and for such a low price too and this is truly one of them, such a great game with awesome game play, I have only played it for an hour and I have recommended to all my friends who have VR and I also recommend it to you too.
10/10 a true gem of a game
