The game does have some redeeming qualities to it. Fun characters and whimsical interactions and story. However overall I didn't really enjoy the game all that much. The game design and puzzle design was poor. There were many points in the game where we just got frustrated trying to figure out how the game wanted us to solve a puzzle. There are points where you have an ability that helps you pull levers, but it only works on the ones that they decided you should be able to use them on. And the fighting was cumbersome and just felt bad.
There were several times where we couldn't even see anything because things in the foreground were blocking everything.

If you wanna be sad and not get a big enough pay off or play experience, OK, play it. Played with my boyfriend and neither of us enjoyed it. We kinda suffered through the last four hours to see if it had a good payoff. Sunken cost fallacy. Some of the exploring was pretty fun, but the characters were off-putting, so that's not great. On top of that, it is a linear game and sometimes it got ahead of itself or all offset from us wandering around too close to a trigger. The whole round table scene was completely offset so I could barely even see Demelda. Other pathing issues came up and broke gameplay. We had to look up a guide?? Camera angles were garbage. Fighting was AAWFUL. Two mechanics could have worked, but bringing in three was so busy.
TLDR: I get where they were going, but it was depressing and a chore to play.

Super fun, casual co-op. Art style, story and soundtrack are all lovely!
