I would recommend the updated version on the Switch, personally. Or, on the Steam Deck if there are no bugs on there (I wouldn't know, but I guess not everyone will have the same bug problems as me, anyway). I had very frequent bugs while playing it that caused me to have to close the game frequently. Specifically, I kept triggering the History page accidentally with my keyboard, and would then be unable to close it unless I completely relaunched the game every time. Very tedious. Worth the cheaper price on Steam, I guess. $10 isn't bad. I will say I liked this game most of the time, even with the bugs. I had a few characters whom I really liked, and plenty of them whom I liked alright. The writing is often entertaining if very, very long, especially on the common route. Still, the visuals, voice acting, and story didn't make up for the bugs, even if I really wanted them to. It's just too difficult to get immersed into the story.
