VITATIO 2 is a poorly made mobile app store reject that got dumped on Steam to annoy PC gamers instead of captivating iPhone users like it was intended to. In this rejected mobile app, you put your finger on your iPhone screen to drag a dot around a minimalist puzzle level to collect gems and then exit... but don't touch the sides! That's all there is to this incredibly shallow shovelware garbage.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.
Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the GameMaker Studio construction kit/toolset. This is a very poor quality toolset favoured by amateur developers as it's cheap and requires little in the way of development skill, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. GameMaker Studio is most commonly used to make retro pixel shovelware and cash grabs.
A strong argument can be made that construction kits like GameMaker Studio should never be used to make games for profit, as the "developer", ColloseusX has done here. These construction kits are intended to teach people some of the basic principles of game development, and to make small demos to pass around with friends. They're not intended to replace to actual work of real, professional game developers. So it's inappropriate when amateurs try to use these for profit, without any actual, real game development effort taking place. This doesn't result in products that have any real meaningful value for gamers.
This looks and feels like a mobile app, but it doesn't seem to have made it to the app stores. It's unclear why this was put on Steam instead of the app stores it seems to have been designed for. Maybe it was removed, maybe it was rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all).
Regardless, for all intents and purposes VITATIO 2 might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones and play games that might as well be mobile apps.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. VITATIO 2 has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for finishing the first tutorial level, trivial to achieve, but less than 8 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 8 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother to played the game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
VITATIO 2 is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

After played through it the easy way with just collecting enough stars to get through I made a quick video on YT which can be found here: https://youtu.be/GSk748M_mng The game is very easygoing but the difficulty can make it frustrating at times. Easy to understand what you are supposed to do harder to execute!

If you have a steady hand, this is the game for you.
You are a tiny dot that is controlled by your mouse pointer.
You must stay within the tight lines of a maze and make it to the finish without touching the walls.
The first levels are easy but it progresses fast in level intensity.
Each level contains 3 Points that can be picked up before reaching the finish.
The controls are very simple an the game seems to run very smooth.
There are trading cards an Achievements associated with Vitatio 2.
Controls 8/10
Graphics 6/10
Satisfaction 7/10

Nice game with unusual mechanics. Completely go through the whole thing the first time, it’s more likely that everything won’t work out, you need to concentrate and calm down .... Good luck to everyone who decided to buy this game)

This is worth the sale price for cards and achievements. You can use a macro with 5 commands since the game doesn't recognize the macro's movements, you can bypass all the walls. Move to ball pickup spot, move to star 1 location, move to star 2 location, move to star 3 location, move to end location. Easy Peasy!

The game is a simple student code with one background song. The colors are nice and calming. The music is actually a very good peace - makes you concentrated and is not annoying. ALthough there is an easy way to cheat, I recommend you to play with your mouse only. It makes your hand more agile and helps you find problems you have with your mouse, but didn't notice. Lastly, you can reach 100% achievements in less than 30 minutes (depends on your skill).

If you are buying this game then just admit to yourself now that it is only for the achievements. All of which can be achieved in under half an hour. Just remember, it will be half an hour of your life you can never get back. Otherwise - give this one a miss. Wouldn't recommend it if it were free.
Pro-tip - move slowly to avoid hitting the walls. That's it.

Vitatio 2 is a game of dexterity the likes of the famous game Operation (in other languages: Dr. Bibber, Docteur Maboul, Operación, L'Allegro Chirurgo, Operacja), which in turn is based on those old-fashioned electrified wire loop games that used to be popular at funfairs and in game shows. You know, those contraptions where you need to guide a metal loop along a serpentine length of wire without actually touching the loop to the wire.
Gameplay
In Vitatio 2, your hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills are tested by having you navigate the mouse pointer through a very short maze while avoiding touching the edges. On your way to the exit, you can pick up three stars, which serve as some sort of score reflecting how well you performed.
It isn't much of a game, though. Everything depends on your mouse pointer speed. These days, most gamers have a gaming mouse that allows the mouse pointer to move at great speeds. And other people will often just increase the mouse pointer speed through Windows' configuration options. Well, at high mouse pointer speed, Vitatio 2 is near impossible to play.
So I lowered my mouse's DPI from 4000 to 400 and finished the game with little effort. If lowering your DPI and/or mouse pointer speed doesn't do the trick for you, you can temporarily enable mouse keys, meaning you can control the mouse pointer with the arrow keys of your keyboard. To enable mouse keys, press Left Alt + Left Shift + Num Lock on your keyboard at the same time. To disable mouse keys, repeat this process.
In the end, Vitatio 2 seems to be a test of your ability to reduce the mouse pointer speed rather than a test of your dexterity. There are a few more things to note that didn't sit well with me:
[*] There are only 8 levels. I finished the whole game in 20 minutes (this includes the time I spent experimenting with DPI settings). Since Vitatio 2 isn't any fun I was glad it didn't last any longer, but it's still ridiculously short for a game that they dare charge money for.
[*] Half of the mazes' corridors are completely superfluous. I mean, what's the point of the many dead ends where there's no star to pick up? None whatsoever.
[*] The music consists of one bombastic classical tune played on piano and percussion, which doesn't really fit a game like this. A more light-hearted piece would have been more fitting.
[*] The game is very basic. For example, if you hit one of the edges you're returned to the main menu one nanosecond later. No sound effect or message to let you know that you messed up, nothing.

On Steam's extra features
Vitatio 2 has 5 Steam Trading Cards. You'll get 3 while running the game.
The Steam Achievements consist of two types: achievements granted for finishing each level with 1, 2 and 3 stars (so 24 total) and achievements for just starting each level up to five times (so 40 total). There are four more redundant achievements granted for finishing 2, 4, 6 and 8 levels, totalling 68 achievements.
