This game is pretty decent.
However off the bat:
It's clearly a low budget chinese game that has the monetisation of a mobile game but is hella more confusing. I honestly couldn't navigate the shop easily and I did try. I managed to find the skins that don't require gambling but unfortunately there aren't many of them. The UI is horrible, the graphics are dated and they will throw out any kind of artistic consistency with modern skins for troops and generals and overtly and this is important. Submissive looking women. Joan of Arc was not a 12 year old girl. Nor was Catherine.
That being said, the gameplay IS pretty fun,
Especially if you are looking for something that is clearly inspired by Kingdom Under Fire.
The game runs fine probably because it looks terrible by modern standards.
If you can get passed the frankly extremely chinese monetisation (I basically recommenced avoiding the paid stuff entirely it's all loot chance wheels, loot boxes and confusing tokens and currencies ontop of the battlepass)
It's an okay game. Shame Steam doesn't offer a middle ground option for reviews.
