A very fun and quick game in which you shoot at waves of monsters. The visuals are very cool and the soundtrack fits the steampunk theme. Every time is random, so the replay value is very high. https://youtu.be/ryLLEqmtJL8

Just can't get into this. Controls are unresponsive and wonky. Tried this with two different USB gamepads and keyboard controls. The basic gist of this is to hop around like a madman and keep firing hoping your timing is good enough to score a hit. Or last long enough to gather plenty of powerups so it doesn't matter anymore. Either way Adventuring Gentleman is not holding my attention or interest to keep me playing it.

This game reminds me of cuphead mixed with binding of isaac. Very simple, only 3 controls: move jump and shoot/charge/select Game is a challenge, but you can get the hang of it quickly. Very very fun in 2player coop although it makes the game way easier I imagine. The second player doesnt get upgrades but is pretty overpowered by themselves, and upgrade over time instead of per perk. Pros: ++Like isaac: You get perks and combine them to make a build that can be pretty busted. After every clear of a "quest"/dungeon, you unlock a permanant perk for the rest of your runs. ++Like Cuphead: Unforgiving platformer shoot um up. ++Varied gameplay and challenge is fun ++Coop is great Cons: --The controls could use a bit more polish --Some enemies seem too strong (the green gunman are WAY stronger than the green machine gunman by a huge portion, the tri-shot robot gentleman are far stronger than most enemies in the game in general, the robot sawblade lady that also shoots bullets every attack is just a dps check because she is super busted lol) --Gameplay is exclusively shootumup, no side content or minigames to even out the repetitive gameplay. --Game would be impossible without coop lol Overall a fantastic game for me and my GF. Very fun and very creative. Inspired me to believe I could make a great game even with "low budget" assets and simple mechanics.

Actually, a surprisingly decent simple wave-platformer with unfairly cheap price. I feel bad for the dev that they have to set the price this low. But with this price, it definitely worth it. It's a very simple platformer, with only move/jump and shoot, with cute monty-python-cut-up style steampunk aesthetics that works well enough, though nothing very eyecatching. You fight waves of random enemies and a boss fight at the final wave, in a single screen every time, but with randomized platform where you can jump around. Every few wave you get choice of random upgrades, and if you beat the boss, you get new potential random upgrade for later runs. It feels cheap, movement is floaty, but actually fun enough. Most likely won't entertain you for too long, but it will entertain you (and a friend, since there's multiplayer) for a while. And once again, it's now priced as much as a single candy, so you can't complain that it's not worth it.
