Party Hard: High Crimes DLC DLC

Ever have one of those school projects that just REALLY doesn't go according to plan? I'm talking the kind that seems good on paper, but when you actually try it, everything fails. Worse yet, it all fails so spectacularly that it isn't salvageable, because the problems caused by it trace back to the overall starting concept, so all that's left is to either abandon it entirely or turn it in for whatever credit you can possibly get? That's what this is. They essentially took the strategy out of this strategy and slasher type game, replacing it with more of a 'pixel-perfect puzzle with only 1 possible way to complete any section' kinda vibe. "How?" It's in how they redesigned the maps, the enemies they added, and the overall re-framing of the game. No rng for items. No fixing any errors mid game. Simply put: no strategy outside of the 1 and only 1 way to complete any section. It's playable in the sense that there is a 'win' condition coded into the game.....but that's about the closest thing to any praise I can give to this dlc. Music and visuals aside, this dlc is an entirely different game from the original. Entirely different feel. Entirely different playstyle is required. You can't wing a section or fix any mistake you make. It has to be an absolutely perfect run (like in a puzzle game) or you'd have to redo it. No exceptions. tl;dr - if you like a strategy stealth slasher, don't get the dlc. If you like a puzzle with exactly 0 tolerance for error (like in those rediculously difficult Mario runs), get the dlc.
