Chances are you've come here after fully completing the main game. Expect a difficulty spike. Excellent new content, a great challenge with interesting and inventive mechanics.

Holy shit this is bad.
Whatever you liked about Party Hard, this DLC throws in the crapper. I understand wanting to mix up the gameplay but you need to BUILD on the base game, not throw it out entirely to do something different.
I enjoyed the base game immensely but this is a pile of hot garbage. DO NOT BUY

If you liked the original game, this isn't really more of the same. Each stage seems to center around a gimmick which seems difficult at first but isn't too hard once you know what to do. After that they're over quickly and aren't terribly fun. They don't offer much replay value either since the solutions are pretty straight forward. I can't say it adds much to the overall experience to bother picking up.

This is a pretty decent DLC.
You got 4 new missions, this time with varying objectives (rather than the usual "kill everyone") and unique features in each mission (like in the hostage mission where you got a cop - who can shoot people - as your "sidekick"). I like the uniqueness in each mission, as it gives you different kind of gameplay mechanics.
I wish there were more unique missions like these though, as with only 4 missions, it feels rather short. I beat this in about 4 hours. IMO you should get this if it's in discount.

The quality of this DLC is undoubtedly bad. It is boring, unbalanced, and ridden with bugs. Only the first map is exciting and engaging, the rest 3 are just plain rubbish. If your experience of the main game was positive, be sure NOT TO BUY this one - I made the mistake, don't follow in my missteps.
TLDR:
It's short and annoying. Avoid buying it at all costs.

Good game, terrible DLC.
High Crimes features 4 new levels and no new playable characters. For a DLC that costs 50% of the main game's price, this is a major disappointment.
All of the levels feature unique gameplay mechanics, but put too much emphasis on them, severely punishing experienced players who have learned to use chaos to their advantage.
The dogs in the first level never get distracted by dead bodies, forcing the player to avoid them and play in a slow, boring fashion. The first, third and especially fourth level are way too open, making it hard to pick off lone targets.
The levels also disable local coop and the Policeman character due to lazy coding.
I would refund it if I could.

1. Ignore the people crying about the DLC being too hard - they're just crap. The 'dog level' took me 2 attempts and 10 minutes to finish.
2. I enjoyed the different mechanics in the DLC - was a nice change and added to the original.
3. It is a little clunky in some areas but not game breaking.
4. $5 is a bit steep for what you get. 4 levels that wil take you maybe 30 minutes seems a bit short for a DLC
Overall, not bad. If you enjoyed the original, you'll probably enjoy the DLC - as long as you understand what you're getting for the money.

The DLC is a fantastic addition to the game. It adds a bunch of new mechanics and gameplay. Although it had a rough start with the bugs, the developers are on top of the game, making sure that the game works as intended. With all of the updates and tweaks that the developers rolled out, it really fixed the game, so the bugs listed before are pretty much gone.
But as for the DLC itself, each stage introduces something new. Large maps, new missions, and a new story really change the way the game was meant to be played.
Previous review: (This dlc throws a lot of new mechanics at you, and its neat. Now if only it weren't as buggy as it is, this would get a positive rating. I can't enter any shortcuts, the game keeps me at the end stats when complete a stage. It's really difficult to play with all the bugs. However, if they were fixed, it would be a cool dlc, since it completely changes the game with the new stuff it throws at you)

Wow, I was not expecting this kind of follow up to such a good game. See Noe's review below, he outlines a number of issues quite well, but it comes down to unkillable dogs, required method of playthrough, and just poor assembly. I was even shocked at how bad the English is; not a single pass by a native speaker in sight, and that's really saying something, considering there's not much dialogue to begin with. Oh, and the dog mission? I beat it by making a phone call, the exterminators showed up, and they happened to put the gas bombs close enough to my target to kill him. There definitely wasn't much beta testing going on here.

When I originally posted this the boss on level 4 for virtually impossible to beat. RNG for where he moved and how fast he fired, with barely any warning for when he would.
Not a day later, the Devs do a patch and ask me to try again.
Now. Party Hard isn't built for bosses. Being one shot killed kind of doesn't flow well together with it.
Thanks to the update they have done, the boss is now somewhat more reliable to beat. More warning for when he's about to fire, and a bit more time between shots, these two little things make a huge difference.
So I'm turning my review from thumbs down to thumbs up. I don't like the boss fight, but with devs this willing to make changes and so quickly, that's exactly the type of people you should want to support. People willing to interact with their community.
That's the reason I bought the dlc in the first place. To support these guys, and this small little update, only reassures my mindset.
Original Review:
I bought this dlc mostly to support the devs.
It adds some new mechanics and things which are nice.
But the boss fight it adds to the 4th level is absolutely terrible. Relying on RNG completely to be able to beat it. (I could not beat it after an hour of trying.)
Worth it if you want to support the game, but if you want better content, wait until the Party Hard Tycoon.
