I love this game, its a unique card game that used to be fun. Unfortunately despite being free, and the reviews that you see, especially the positive ones about the premium upgrade. Be weary when purchasing the premium upgrade. Even to a person such as myself who truly does enjoy this game feels like i wasted my hard earned money on the upgrade, it is not worth it, does absolutely nothing for you and what it does do, is very little. Yes you get more gold for life, but after you spend youre money, Unless youre a hardcore fan of the game, DO NOT BUY THE UPGRADE. I am not sure if the positive reviews are possibly made by trolls to pretend that it is good. But sorry i will not white lie one of the games i play frequently. I truly wasted my money on the Premium Upgrade. Do not believe the comments about how worth it, that is is. its not. Unless you got 20$ to waste, I could of got a really amazing pizza for 20$, the Premium upgrade left a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn't get what I purchase in the pack on STEAM. After I bought the Minion Masters: Legendary Masters Bundle I didn't get all cards of Minion Masters - Nightmares Minion Masters - Charging Into Darkness Minion Masters - Frost Dragon's Lair REPAY for compensation ASAP.

the permanent gold and XP bonuses sound appealing if you haven't invested much time into the game yet, but the base XP and gold income is so poor that it'd probably take a bonus more like 100-300% to make this feel like a worthwhile investment. the shards, rubies, and deck slots are the most usable elements of this pack. buying this pack to get 2500 rubies is also cheaper than trying to buy approximately that amount in-game, and is probably the most compelling reason to buy this, currently. between this pack and a helping of one-time achievement based rewards in-game, this dlc falls about 2 masters flat of being able to unlock the entire roster. 2019 update: they have made the game free to start and now have a new pack that gets you all of the masters. this is still an okay purchase if you're dying for rubies, but now that there's an actual proper way to get all of the masters, the value on offer here is even less than it was before.

This game is designed to suck people's time, using persuasive technology such as: - daily quests, - battle passes with daily XP boost, - loot boxes - the need to grind massively to unlock important cards - the need to grind massively to rank up and get rewards (particularly since the matchmaking is rigged to prevent you from ranking up fast: if you do, you end up with uncarriable teammates or decks that counter yours) - peer-pressured grinding via a guild system "Persuasive technology (also called persuasive design) works by deliberately creating digital environments that users feel fulfill their basic human drives — to be social or obtain goals — better than real-world alternatives. Kids spend countless hours in social media and video game environments in pursuit of likes, “friends,” game points, and levels — because it’s stimulating, they believe that this makes them happy and successful, and they find it easier than doing the difficult but developmentally important activities of childhood." https://medium.com/@richardnfreed/the-tech-industrys-psychological-war-on-kids-c452870464ce For those who prefer videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNjI03CGkb4

Nice chunk of stuff to support a Developer that's shown a great deal of heart in crafting this game.

Listen here, people. The game is free. A lil' boost hurts nobody. Another plus is to support those great developers on a F2P game. I bought this 2 days after I started playing since I knew I'll be here for a while (@100h ingame time and counting, mostly playing actively, rarely watching a stream). Love to support the devs this way and also getting a small bonus for myself. Winwin in my book!

A great way to support the devs and receive a ton of great stuff in return. The bonus XP and gold rates will help you unlock new cards and masters faster, the 500 shards are a nice boost, and the 2,500 rubies alone are valued at $25. Highly recommended.

The Premium Upgrade is a good deal. I am really set for battle and I am only missing a few cards at the game's current state, which makes it still fun to achieve those few I am missing.

Minion Masters is a variant of the standard battlefield card summoning game. It has a lot of cool aspects that make it refreshing, new, and exciting. Like every game it does come with some flaws. Pros: Having a hero with certain abilities causes the game to play differently which makes deck construction quite integral. Exp leveling your master gives access to different abilities. I wish there was more customization here but overall its great. Your Level produces a great amount of resources which help keep the game rolling. Matchmaking is great fun and has a ladder ranking. 2v2 mode is full of shenanigans and fun. Relics allow you to explore new areas, and collect resources in different areas. Your choices matter in this game for the strategist out there. Cons: Expeditions feel like you can't get a lot done in a fast amount of time, Its like a grindy aspect of the game but I enjoy the expedition aspect of the game, not the time. Do I really need to fight a NPC that sucks at the game? Thanks for adding flee. Power stone's the equivalent of card packs only produce one card which makes collecting tedious but they are far more obtainable than other card games. At the same time it makes it more exciting when opening a higher rarity than common card. Matchmaking can take sometime but its most likely due to early access. I would like the game to explore different modes, and more events. Overall I believe this games is a solid 8.5/10. I can play this game all the time.

Only get this if you want the extra decks. 50% more of (next to) nothing is still (next to) nothing, so don't get it for the gold bonus. xp win bonus also feels unnecessary because it's xp and that doesn't really get you anything except a bigger number on your profile. Even if you want the rubies, it's cheaper to just buy them directly. It's nice to have, I guess, but ultimately pointless.
