Best game to play w friend or friends when yall are super bored or dont know what to play.

An absolute classic of co-op action. The game that NEVER DIES! Where to give the highest rating? Left 4 Dead 2 is not just a game, it is a PHENOMENON. Valve created something so polished, dynamic and addictive that it remains one of the best in its genre after ONE AND A HALF DECADE. Why?) Perfect Coop: This is a game made for 4 players. The synergy, the help, the shouting into the microphone when you are being carried by Smoker or demolished by Charger - it is an indescribable experience. Without coop, the game loses a lion's share of the magic. Genius AI Director: It makes every run unique. Zombie hordes, special infected spawns, item distribution - everything is generated on the fly, adapting to your successes and failures. You never know what's around the corner. Variety and Replayability: 5+1 campaigns with excellent localization and atmosphere (New Orleans rules!), Survival Mode (how long can you hold out?), Realism (for real survivors), Meat Grinder (maximum madness), Scavenger (collect canisters!) and Versus (play as the infected!). Incredible Mod Support: Steam Workshop is a treasure trove. New maps (dozens of hours of content!), weapon and character skins, special infected mods, new modes, even entire parody campaigns. The game is infinitely expandable! Adrenaline and Atmosphere: The sound design is a masterpiece (Hunter's hiss, Tank's roar, the howl of the horde). The music sets the rhythm. The levels are well thought out, the pacing is perfect: from intense exploration to crazy "last stands". Lively Community: Yes, the game is old, but the servers are STILL FULL! Finding a company for a campaign or Versus is not a problem (especially in the evening/weekends). Although be prepared to meet newbies and... toxic personalities (mute and block will help). Disadvantages? The graphics are, of course, outdated (but Valve's style does not spoil), it is boring alone with bots (but it is ok for training), sometimes you come across cheaters (rarely, but accurately). Bottom line: L4D2 is a BRILLIANT. One of the best cooperative games of all time. Crazy dynamics, perfect gameplay loop (shot-reload-breather-shot), tons of fun with friends, endless content thanks to mods. For this price, it's a steal! If you have at least one friend, don't hesitate to get it. If you don't have friends, the game will help you find them online! This game deserves a place in your library. very fun game with friends and even playing it with mods. Never used it before playing L4D2 but using Steam Workshop is the best modding experience I’ve ever had, it’s no hassle and very easy to use.

I only have around 50 hours as of this review, rarely played it until a friend got me to actually give it a shot and play it a bit more. I love Valve's games, played CSGO (pretty solid when i'm not losing my mind), TF2, Legendary game that i suck at, Portal (2) my absolute favorite of all time, played it a shit ton with my dad when i was littler. Left 4 Dead 2 is absolutely legendary as well. I have played few games that have such good gameplay, personality, design, and music (coming from a band kid) as this one. This game quickly ascended from existing in my library, to being one of my favorites.

Game has lots of replayability and mods making it even better

With a game like Left 4 Dead 2, you'd expect the game to be simple and at first glances it is, but the real meat to the game is all the new tricks and strategies you end up learning as you play, and that makes the skill ceiling surprisingly high, disregarding pure mechanical skill. No matter when or what campaign I play I always find myself learning a new tidbit that I never knew you could do, and that to me has made the game as replayable as it is addicting. For the asking price it is a steal, and on sale it is cheaper than dirt. I couldn't recommend it enough, especially if you like games where teamwork is valued and is rewarded. I love this game, and I hope everyone who plays the game gets the same enjoyment out of it that I have come to get.

This game holds a special place in my heart, that almost causes a heart attack after being chased by the Tank. 10/10.

LEFT 4 DEAD 2 IS ONE OF THE GREATEST GAMES OF ALL TIME , AND THE MODS TODAY KEEP IT SO FRESH ALWAYS. ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES TO PLAY AND MEET NEW FRIENDS ON. THE CAMPAIGN MISSIONS ARE ALWAYS THE SWEET SPOT FOR ME WITH FRIENDS , KEEPS ME HOOKED FOR HOURS ON END 9.5/10
