First of all, there's a demo. I hope it's up to date with the current build of this, cos this is pretty dagnabbity good, in archery shooting 'AND'... yes, 'AND'... Tower Defence. I was initially impressed with the archery mechanics, alone, but teleporting around the battlements gets you to a table that has Soldiers for Hire!... and other stuff. The soldiers get amongst it, protecting the gate (you can unlock more units, but haven't played enough yet. I'm presuming archers and mage units, I'll update review)... anyway, the soldiers protecting the gate can be promoted, "IF", they stay alive, which really adds to the emotion of 'keeping' them alive, giving you a rush, trying to get a clean shot at creatures they're fighting. It's really, well done. Oh yeah, there's another bonus gameplay mechanic, Don't forget to duck :)

Eventhough I can't aim well It's such a fun experience. Works well with G2.

Played on Oculus Quest. But even if you keep the bow steady, every arrow hits a different spot. In other games, bows behave more consistently.

I like the game, wave game on a castle wall with a bow and ability to buy different arrow types and troops. But its very frustrating that the troops die so easily and there is no way to revive them. You just buy more troops at level 1. The troops level with experience but then you have a top level troop die and start over? There is no progression in the level that way. Just dumb chance that they would live. It would be a much better experience if I could pay for revivial of dead troops so that my troops would progress in the level with me instead of all the previous money spent on troops getting thrown away

I've played for almost 5 hours now. After 5 hours I've only managed to complete the first 3 or 4 battles. There are about 12 in total I believe. My remarks:

Satisfying progression, that said, progression is DIFFICULT.
Sadly content is locked by progression and I'm pretty sure I'll get bored of this game before having been able to enjoy it all. Maps, new soldiers, special arrows, all are locked.
You can replay old levels. So if you don't feel like stressing out because of playing at your maximum the entire time you can replay an old level. If you're at battle 3 then battle 1 is basically target practise.
Swapping between arrow types is much too time consuming. When you're being overrun you can't just take the time to change arrows, that should be a buttong press to swap between arrows, not a select menu.
For me this was 2 euros. It's worth 5 imo.
Overall this is a nice game I'm glad I have bought. :) I imagine my playtime will go up to 10 hours before quitting it.

+ Good VR bow game. Not the best, but good. - The arrow setting is a little bit off: you have to bend your hand to set the arrow to the bow. - Also you can't change hands after you accidentally chose wrong. - To get to the next wave, you have to shoot the arrow extra far, instead of the possibility to just push a button. * Could also have multi-player online choice.

This is an outdated wave-based VR tower defense game with outdated graphics and excessively high difficulty. You will not find anyone on Youtube who has completed every level in this game. Most likely because it would take an enormous amount of effort and time after constantly failing levels over and over. I could never make it past level three. The first two levels are ok. But starting with level three, the game gets just stupid hard with an insane amount of enemies. They are also very tiny targets and difficult to hit. You can hire soldiers to fight for you on the ground. However, they are always quickly defeated starting in level three. Every level also looks the same, just with more enemies and more waves. Overall, this is a highly frustrating VR experience in my opinion and I therefore cannot recommend it.

This game has been an absolute blast! I see moba style games coming in the near future thanks to ideas that this game has implemented to semi-similar games of the overall same genre. Wave based, tower defense, upgradable weaponry, decent teleport system, and downright pretty. Oh yeah, did I mention it's hard? (She told me so, but I had already been aware) I've been enjoying trying to figure out the best way to spend my loot in order to die in the most lengthy possible way. I've gotten to the centaur-type boss on level 6 once. I hope very much that this game gets a multiplayer mode with co-op and head to head, I want the bowstring to be closer to my body... maybe further away from the bow-hand controller is a better way to put it. I feel like I'm constantly trying to destroy endless waves of demons and constantly being trolled by an invisible, and slightly imaginary, bowstring. That bowstring is rude. There is a bit of blur at a distance but for the most part I get it. I really think that this is due to our machines not setup correctly within control panel and the likes. I've fiddled with more settings and steamvr resets than I'd like to remember. I am confused why fps can say it's hanging out at a balmy 60ish on ultra settings yet it doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe, this is merely it's interpretation of repro+fps or something else above my head (I'd put money down on the latter). TLDR; thanks guys! It's been super fun so far and I cant wait to see where this takes you guys. Fellow Vive owners, buy this game, give valuable info about said game so we can further these sorts of projects, get ready to grab life by your ankles because this is a very fun but challenging game that will not hold your hand or call you back.

If you enjoy wave based shooting gallery bow and arrow vr games, this is one of many to choose from. After about 6 hours I'm just now on the 5th stage of the first of two Queendoms populated with only slim, light-skinned women. It may take you more or less time to get where I am depending on your ability to aim well, prioritize targets, dodge or repel incoming enemy missile attacks, and make good hiring and purchase decisions between onslaught waves, Each Queendom has 5 stages, and each stage has a minimum of four waves to complete. Scoring headshots regularly, and having high accuracy, will increase the amount of gold you earn each wave. There are a plethora of enemy models with unique attack types, movement, and special effects. I definitely recommend this game in its current state if you're looking for a bow and arrow shooting gallery vr game with a variety of enemy models and attacks, the use of roomscale for dodging or hiding behind walls to defend from incoming attacks, a campaign with additionial stages that unlock as you complete them, and a minigame which allows you to defend your castle with hirelings.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
I bought this in the Steam VR Spring Sale for $2.79 USD. It's not the best bow & arrow VR game, but it's pretty solid and it would be in my top 10 for bow & arrow titles (although probably #9 or #10 on that list). There's just so many good ones, this is a subgenre that is packed with quality titles. The bow feels good. With just a little practice you can snipe things off at a distance and you get bonus gold for being accurate and for headshots. The only odd thing is that the arrow goes on the inside of the bow (right-handed perspective). So this is a dark fantasy themed tower defense bow & arrow game. You can teleport all around an area at the top of the tower. You are a female hooded ranger/ queen in disguise and apparently the last defense. There's many types of enemies that try to invade the castle, from wolves to spiders to skeleton warriors, to orcs, to trolls, to flying demons, to shaman. Enemies can attack you and you will have to dodge projectiles. You can upgrade your defenses by hiring warriors. You then need to protect from damage or they'll die and it'll be gold lost. You can also upgrade to frost arrows and all kind of other magical arrows. You can also spend coin to repair the castle walls. I did not get far into the game. I got to Stage 4. Each stage has 4 waves that you have to beat before the next one unlocks. The good thing is that your progress is saved. You have 6 stages to reach the end. I believe there are 2 different environments with 6 stages each. At the end, you get to see where you are on the global leaderboards. Rate 6.5/10. Really solid. Recommended if you're looking for a fantasy themed bow & arrow game. Would have been great with multiplayer.
