While I love this pack and everything about its aesthetic, I have a few big issues with it. I'm not going to sit here and gripe about how there aren't enough actors or monsters included in the pack, because honestly? There are some really good indie games that have worked with a limited cast before - Ib and The Witch's House, for example. Classics. And while more actors would be great, in my opinion the four you get are serviceable as they are. However, the first problem I have is that of the four actor sprites you're given, three of them are asymmetrical, but instead of having the side-view sprites match that, they just. Mirrored them. So the jester's colors are flipped in some of the walksprites, the main girl with the green jacket has her side-pigtail switching sides in some of them, etc. And it's so infuriating because it's such an easy thing to fix. I, an amateur sprite artist, managed to fix this in 15 minutes. All three sprites. That's how easy of a fix it is, and it's so unbelieveably annoying that the people who made it couldn't be bothered with that before they put it out there for actual money. My next issue is relatively minor, but... seriously? No talksprite for the 4th actor? I ended up making my own by photoshoping the protagonist girl, but again, this shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. With such a limited amount of actors, we really shouldn't be missing a talksprite for one of them. And the final and biggest problem I have with this is actually an issue with the tilesets. Because the screenshots imply that for every normal prop, there is a twisted nightmare version... Which is almost correct, but there're a lot of normal props that don't have any kind of nightmare version, and vice-versa. That's just... disappointing. Again, I love this pack, I could go on forever about how much I love the art style (for both sprites and talksprites), the overall aesthetic, the kind of creepy stories this sets up for, etc. But $11.99 is more than I'd have been willing to pay if I'd known about these issues in advance. Overall, I recommend this as a good pack if you catch it on sale, but not at its full price. It's just a tad bit short on content and a little sloppily put together for an almost $12 pricetag. I'd say it's worth closer to $8.50~ish in its current state. Still recommending it though because I'm weak for creepy jester/theme park aesthetics.

While I can understand a lot of what the other people who reviewed this pack are talking about, I myself enjoy this pack. Plus I feel like there should be more sprites, like additional monsters and stuff like that, as well as versions of this for RPG Makers MV and MZ. Still, keep up the good work on this.

This is a pretty cool add-on. Style-wise, it's a beautiful (and spooky) pixel art pack. While it's limited in what it can do and doesn't mesh too well with the RTP-style graphics, I think it would likely mesh beautifully with the DS packs. Don't buy this, expecting to make an entire game using only this pack - you WILL need more than just this to create one - but it's a wonderful and beautifully done addition.

I have to say, while I love this pack style-wise, there isn't enough here to justify its current price, and I doubt you could create a full game with these assets alone. There are only four actor characters (not counting the ghost and shadow versions of these same characters), with only three of them having character portraits, and the monster sprite sheet basically only has 2 different types of monsters on it with recoloured variants. If you're gonna buy this, you really should only buy it for the tileset because that's what you're mainly going to be using, and even then most of the tiles are props and furnishes, with not much in the way of flooring and walls. It really is disappointing, and I can't really reccomend this pack in its current state or as its currents price.
