This game is simple clunky, boring, and very basic. It's not even as good as many flash games you can play for free. The author eve has the nerve to ask for money in order to release a patch! This game is terrible, stay away.

Adventure World is a fairly limited action RPG which nevertheless presents a somewhat unusual take on the genre. More like a typical open-world CRPG in setup, the main character Alisa has the ability to travel more or less whereever she chooses, explore dungeons, take randomly-generated sidequests for money or for morality points, fight in rock-paper-scissors-style duels in the gladiatorial arena, or recruit random NPCs in town to follow her, or beat them up and take their money or sell them into slavery.
It's actually a fairly decent setup, though weighed down by not being very in-depth in any given area. NPC allies aren't very useful, and there's not much reason to care about your morality unless it's gotten very low from beating up NPCs or from bad random events. Likewise, the combat system provides Alisa with 9 active skills, but I found a grand total of one of them (Earth Splitter) to be useful, as the ones I tried all did similar damage and Earth Splitter was almost certain to hit all of the enemies. Admittedly, I never really tried using the magical attacks, preferring to conserve MP for healing myself and my NPC sandbag, but fights basically just came down to footwork poking matches vs. melee enemies or hiding behind my shield and poking vs. the rest of the enemies, as it's impossible to avoid their attacks with footwork.
There's also a few baffling choices, like a consumable item that reveals what's coming up in a dungeon, but not in a way that is very useful - it doesn't show you what room contains the ladder to the next level, and when you've entered a room, the only way you can avoid any of the three encounters in it is if one of them is a secret passage, and you can almost always see whether or not to take a secret passage even without the detector item. As well, there's a vague feeling of emptiness often, less because of Adventure World's open world nature and mostly because of its origins as an erotic game. As an erotic game, players were encouraged to explore and do things which were harmful to Alisa because they would result in an erotic scene, but in the Steam version, a lot of things you can do should just be avoided entirely, as they are harmful to your progress and don't result in anything except maybe a funny event picture.
(Admittedly, the event pictures for losing to the various types of enemies are pretty funny.)
In summary, I'm not really sure I can recommend Adventure World, simply because it's not very good, but there's at least some good ideas here that could be expanded upon. If you're interested in this, I would recommend playing a CRPG such as Avernum or The Quest or something instead. Unfortunately, most of those are lacking in anime girls, but the game itself will be much more entertaining.

I'm... not sure this is at all a worthy game. I mean, it is very confusing, does not seem to have much of a point besides grinding... and when you lose... bad things happen to you... very bad things...
Of course that last part might be because I downloaded the patch when I got this game... but still, it isn't nice...
I cannot recommend this game as such.

This game is like a buggy shitty lash game from the 90's. I kept lossing battles cause for no reason the main character forgot how to use her weapon. Saying she had a non-existant heavy sword when she had a light sword equipped. Not worth the 5 bucks. Not even worth a dollar in my opinion given the bugs.

Fun little RPG. The story isn't super engaging, but the SFX, art and battle style keep you entertained and motivated. As far as nudity goes, there's a patch you can get via the game's discussion section here on Steam. The patch converts some of the CG to nude scenes, all you have to do is donate a minimum of a dollar (worth it). Aside from that, there's no nudity in the base game that I'm aware of; If you lose all of your armor, the avatar will still have clothes on, even with the CG patch (dissapointing). In terms of gameplay, this is a 2d scroller type of game, and you can give your character skills and allocate points to influence what your character is like in battle. All in all, this game is a great purchase, very fun, good for casual players and hardcore gamers alike.

I truly love this game. It's very simple, and I'm not sure how many hours it takes to finish. I just keep restarting it, because it's easy to miss content. It's a simple game but it actually has some strategy.
The things that happen if she loses are hilarious. Also there exists an uncensor patch out there somewhere on the net, which will give you "those" kinds of bad outcomes if she loses.

I found myself disappointed by this game. It has some good points, but overall, it was a grind for little satisfaction.
Pros:
Hilarious defeats - I laughed my ass off more than once
Cons:
Clunky controls
Frequent defeats
The need to grind levels and experience to avoid defeats
Repetitive and boring combat
Really short story
No actual nudity, though the game is tagged with nudity - no exposed female nipples or groins
The promised nudity was not delivered and is not available because the developer fears the Steam banhammer. There is no patch available. There was one available temporarily, but the developer took it down from the site where it was hosted as a paid download. Kind of a let down, since I thought that a game tagged with Nudity might contain nudity. Maybe I have a different definition of nudity? The closest you will see in this game is Alisa in her leather underwear when her armor is totally broken and hanging in tatters from her body. I think the patch allowed armor damage to go a step or two further.
Combat is somewhat difficult to get the hang of, but once mastered, it's not too bad. However, enemies are quite strong, and they will regularly hand you your ass after removing it from their boot after your ass detaches from your body after they plant said boot inside.
It's funny what can happen when you are defeated, but you usually have to spend money that you no longer have to re-equip yourself, meaning that you are forced to either do bad things to get money that will then prevent you from spending that money because everyone will hate you, or you have to go back and fight the baddies without proper equipement to get some money. This leads to a lot of heading into a dungeon, having a single fight, and then leaving before another defeat.

Alright, so it's a little tough and confusing at first...and probably after. Controls...are a little awkward. It seems like it wants me to use A, S, D, Z, and X, as well as the arrow keys AND the mouse... Since I don't have three hands, that can sometimes throw me off a little, but there is an option in dungeons to auto-move so you aren't using the arrows. When in dungeons, battle is fairly simple (and this is an evaluation Before learning any skills...). You need to remember to use the X key to block attacks. There is a little skill involved in dodging, striking, and blocking so you don't die. However, this game has a system of Morality. You can do bad deeds, and failing to do good deeds (or failing an adventure) takes from your Morality. I like how I can lose in a dungeon, and still not have a game over.
What I learned after gaining 4 levels is that the game assumes you're Not an idiot. You have to manually go to the status screen on the map and allocate skill points to your character. You can customize her a little to your play style. I bought this on impulse and don't know how long the game is, or what else it has to offer, but I like how you can go into towns and talk with people to take on contracts (jobs) for money. You can also ask various people to fight with you (but it seems you can only have 1 partner at a time.) Some fight up close, and others do from a distance. Again, you have a choice to match your specific play style.
The game has great art and fun cut scenes when you "die" in a dungeon. It's not the easiest game to play, but I look forward to seeing what else this thing has to offer. This is already a fun little romp, though probably not for everyone.
