You play as a little robot, Emeth, scanning the stars in search of Earth, and somehow, despite the minimal mechanics, the game makes you feel that journey in a way that’s surprisingly emotional. The music is beautiful. The art is cozy and melancholic in the best way. The story is a lot more touching than you’d expect. It’s not a complex game in any way, but that’s exactly why it works. You get to just be in this lonely yet hopeful little world, and by the end, you genuinely care about Emeth and his mission. If you’re into narrative-driven indie games that hit you right in the feelings, this one’s absolutely worth playing.
