Normally I like games with fanservice in them, so that's not why it's getting a negative review. The visuals are lacking in saturation, leading to dull colors that I find unappealing to look at. The gameplay is my biggest problem though. It reminds me of Dynasty Warriors, where you fight hordes of mindless AI drones, followed by pretty mindless bosses that just let you wail at them. It's not even remotely challenging even on normal mode.
Onee Chanbara Origin looks like it would be more my cup of tea, at least from a visual point of view since it uses more saturated colors with an anime style. If you're like me, I'd recommend just buying that game alone instead of the bundle with this game included.
