Wait until they fix the SteamVR Issues, Bought this before their update on the store page.
EDIT: Is been Fixed... But i've since played it on the Quest 2 and please continue waiting for updates. But I will encourage you to buy it and set a timer for 2 hours to at least give it a solid try. The Concepts are there but its not executed well.

Game just doesnt meet my expectations. Not a fan of how abilities are on seperate controllers. because ur so busy aiming a gun instead. the reloading of guns is horrible, i much rather be manually reloading and cocking the gun myself like Pavlov, just doesnt feel right seeing ur character reload without me actually moving my own hands after i push the reload button. i get that its trying to be arcade-like competing with overwatch but they dont even do that right. the gamemodes are boring, maps are poorly designed and u are spawned killed over and over again.

Awesome & fun game works for PCVR now with some glitches usally depends on server lag next update should fix that.
Great fast paced shooter if your a fan of games like hyperdash etc u will have a blast with this one.
If your game is too laggy/buggy for calima don't use her dash just sprint until u unlock some one that dosn't dash/teleport i normally switch between evandor & arc l6 depending on lag.

Remember this is NOT an Early Access game. There is nothing to force the Devs to fix any of these issues.
Does not support Index or Vive headsets Do not buy if you have one of these headsets
it was promised right up to launch that all headsets would be supported.
The Devs should of pushed the release until things were better. but looking at there roadmap the game even if it worked on index would not of been ready.
Two handed gun holding, smooth Dash and manual reload are not even in the release.

This game is everything I wanted in VR- I was initially disappointed on launch due to the lack of support for SteamVR devices but today's patch fixed that so I can experience the game on my Index. It's incredible. Yeah, there's bugs (of course, it's VR) but the gameplay is so fun that it's hard for me to stop playing haha

Sumatchi said "I did not pay $30 for potential, I payed $30 for a working game... this is unplayable" and i completely agree, these are not veteran VR game developers, these are overwatch and valorant fans that re-coded a flatscreen game based on existing games and gave it a 360 view. Playing this feels like im holding and xbox controller not 2 VR controllers, the hype behind this game is completely undeserved and the launch was a huge let down. I was so happy for this game coming out aswell...

I've played lots of VR games, this one so far is my favourite one, the community is great, there is lots of stuff to obtain and game is also not p2w. If you ever played overwatch it's pretty similar.
Positives:
+Not pay 2 win
+You can't buy in game currency
+Lots of stuff to unlock
+High replayability
+Helpful and chill community
Negatives
-Sometimes you get lobbies full of tiktok's song singing kids
-Picking up stuff is sometimes a bigger problem than the enemies
-Weird default controls
-Servers are sometimes fu**ed up, but most of the time you're good
-Daily tasks are bugged and you can't see the progress
-Sometimes you get lobbies full of bots, but real players are going to join mid game
Some tips
>Check community control settings
>Check store for possible character purchase
>You can obtain new characters through opening chests and sometimes you are able to buy them from the store (4000 in game currency)
>There is no push to talk, you mic is always open, you have to mute it from steam VR if you want some privacy
>If you're getting clapped by VOD, pick high mobility character like Calima and keep your distance, playing with your team will for sure make him useless
>Don't be afraid to ask questions in game, I'm sure there will be at least one person that will try to help you out
At least give this game a try, you can always refund it within two hours, but I doubt you will after you try it out.
I hope I helped and I hope to see you in game :D
Oculus Quest 2 via Airlink
I don't pretend speaking in the name of the whole community, but this game is pretty damn good on the Quest 2 via Airlink !
Very polished in many aspects, it's a good mix between Team Fortress and Overwatch.
The gameplay itself must to be taken like a video game, even if I would have preferred manual reloadings, auto-reloading is nevertheless satisfying. I like playing FPS in VR comfortably seated on my couch. The overall game remains dynamic, tactic, and pretty well balanced.
Art design is very succesful, graphics are colorful and very neat, ambient and sound fx are very good and punchy.
There is a leveling system with XP and loots of which you can customize some aspect of your loadout and your aptitudes.
Now, I hope devs won't give up their baby and will improve it, especially for other headsets, because this game deserves a better futur...

It was not working on launch on steam at all, so I've played it standalone Oculus Quest 2.
Reviewers was saying it's not production quality, but I still had hope because I love Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch, would loved to have it in VR.
Unlike Team Fortress 2, once you have bought game for 30$, you start with just one character, then you play to unlock 2 more. To get other 5, including OP brawler Vod, you need loot boxes, or you can buy them in the shop.
I am seeing a lot of small visual bugs, like blue ability screen or loud noises staying through death and between matches, I also experience a lot of game-breaking bugs: CTF sometimes can not grab flag(ball), may simply lose my weapon unable to use it until I restart my game (some kinds of losing weapon are fixed with deaths). Pull-up grapples sometimes stop working until you die. You used to be able to fall through ground and die too.
Walls are just paper, you can look through them if you move in roomscale real life. Some people use it to hide in textures to shoot while invincible behind walls.
Hotfixes may take a month: there was a bug where if enemy touches you with ability(salters slate charge), you take damage-over-time forever until you die. Took a month to get rid of it. Have fun playing meanwhile!
I wanted game to improve because I love the genre, so I joined discord server to post bugs I discover. Here is example list of names of my bugreport videos I record for them to see and fix:
- grapple bug
- weapon bug
- texture bug
- Bosun bugs
- Evander skin bug
- Thal no shield bug
- stuck in Finding Match after 5man lobby
- Evander buggy gameplay no invis
- evander losing both weapon and invis
- no invis
- Vod stuck
- can not grab Rifle
- cant grab healgun
- not joining match
- no grapple
- not reloading
And whole lot more of screenshots, posted in their #bug_stomp.
I was sadly banned from Larcenauts discord, with no explanation given. Of course I was often not happy with current buggy state of things, but I never did insults or anything like that. I was productive with specific bugreports. They could have used it to make the game better, but now bugs are still not fixed, and I can't post there anymore :)
This is a 6v6 game.
Depending on time of day, I see ~5-20 players online. Rest of team slots are filled with bots. Bots don't use abilities, don't sprint, almost never shoot. Bots are usually group up and stuck, 6man bots standing in single place, not moving. Medic bots don't heal. That's how weak bot AI is.
You need players to enjoy this game.

Didn't run into any problems like the other reviewers here... and it does say in the description that (for now) only the oculus headset is supported but that they are working on a fix. So buying a game that doesn't support your hardware right now and giving a negative review for that is kinda dumb ngl.
Edit: Don't worry about me refunding the game, I bought it on Oculus Store too and don't need it twice.
