Take all the greatness of the original game and multiply it, while adding some new features as well. This expansion with the main game makes it the best "Oregon Trail" style of game that I can think of.

As if the base game wasn't great enough, this Expansion adds so much more content to the game. It adds so much more to the game that you want to play again as soon as you finish a campaign. It gives you so many more options to play, and a ton of extra content to discover (Which I won't spoil here). If you played the base game and enjoyed it, you will absolutely love this expansion.

So, I thought this was gonna be a little fishy since this DLC is literally the price fo the game... BUT THERE IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT HERE!!! This DLC adds so much to the base game, its just amazing! More routes, more minigames, more story, more charcter, and even different cars to drive on your journey! Get the main game, which is amazing, and get this DLC, which is just as amazing!!

Do you LOVE Zombie movies and shows? Well look beyond its 8 bit exterior and rejoice in a survival management sim way better than the Oregon Trail mixed with a fat helping of ZOMBIES, Easter Eggs, Clever design choices, Awesome Music, Replay-ability and a reason to die, die, die and keep coming back for more.
Probably has the coolest advertisement in game history BTW (Live action Clements)
I've beaten story mode over 20 times and while short, always has new challenges and things to see. I love the destination art and the fact that even though its 8 bit, you still feel like your in a world that's filled with Zombies.
The Endless mode is half the reason to buy also.
For the price and the fun you'll have, its a STEAL.

I absolutely love everything about this game, except for the all to frequent and painful repairing of your only vehicle. Are we really going to drive the $hitt!est car in America? We can't find another vehicle that isn't the un-wiped @sshole of cars? This hobo dumpster fire breaks down so frequently and is such a pain to fix that it becomes a chore and starts to feel like a kick in the dick.
Otherwise this harrowing journey through a ruined post apocalyptic America is second to none. I absolutely adore this game, and can't say enough fantastic things about it.
To all those who made this game, thank you, I love you.

I got this as part of the Complete Edition Bundle, but I played the non-expansion version at a friends' house prior to obtaining it myself.
Analagously, this expansion is like FTL: Advanced Edition in terms of Content. If you know what that is, then that sums up my entire review. If not, then continue reading;
This Final Cut Expansion provides an enormous amount of content to the point where playing without it just feels like taking an enormous step down. I'm willing to go so far as to say that if you play The Organ Trail without this expansion, you're not experiencing The Organ Trail to its full potential.

Aww yea! I was just wondering about this game a couple days ago. and lo and behold a new DLC for it just sprang up! making it better then ever, adding new events, features, zombies, cars, locations, minigames and fishing! (even though fishing kinda makes the rest button completely useless in a way, kinda wish they made it more of its own event, probably by increasing the food you get from fishing, but take away the "resting" Healing effect :P, but holy shit its a great dlc nonetheless).

2 years after I bought this game, an expansion comes out and it is awesome! This is an example of a DLC done right. It basically adds a lot of new content to the original game, making it more fun and adding tons of replayability.
It's that DLC you didn't know you needed until you actually got it. However, don't mistake this as cut content because it's not. It's more of the developers wanting to improve on their original concept rather than a cash grab.
Of course, I do have to be fair, the expansion isn't without it's shortcomings. Some of the added new features makes the game a pinch too easy, in my opinion. I'm not sure if the developers tested for balance. Also, I already encountered a bug in the last section of the game, which could be considered game-breaking, fortunately the game has an auto-save system.
If you're new and plan on buying Organ Trail-Director's Cut, make sure to include this as well.
For people who already have the base game, I highly recommend this, even at full price.

This expansion is everything I could have wanted out of an expansion for this kind of game. More of everything and some of the kinks that plagued the original (which I won't spoil) have been ironed out spectacularly. Overall, this expansion makes the original look like crap in comparison.
Seriously, I can't think of a single way they could improve this game.
