When I bought Bitardia, I wasn't expecting much from it. Stupid jokes, old memes that's what I expected, but what I got was a big disappointment. There's literally nothing good in this game. It has a full bouquet of technical problems, confusing story, bad humor, boring gameplay, awful voice acting and so on. And it's all made on Unity, game engine so simple, you could make your own game in a couple of hours without any coding experience. It look like devs didn't use assets from Unity Asset Store and decided to make everything on their own, it's commendable, but they could have at least tried to make it good.
Pros:
+ There aren't any
Cons:
- Bad humor
- Horrible voice acting
- Random crashes
- Bad optimization
- Bugs
Totally not recommended.

Honestly this game is probably one of my most favorite games I've ever played. I wasn't expecting this game at all from the videos and photos of it,, it is somehow immersive, funny, and very fun while also seemingly simple. The story was hard to follow at first, but even wandering around I was fully focused on the side missions and stories of npcs. I found this game through the card game (Bitardia Cards: Memes of 2ch) which I downloaded in 2016/2017, and to see where it originated from is such an interesting feeling.. Overall, this game is immersive, funny, entertaining, and although the graphics aren't good, they make the game better. It's bad in a way that makes it amazing. There's references to tons of culture (which was surprising to me for some reason) and easter eggs that make the game even more fun. I HIGHLY recommend this game,,,, it should be priced way higher for the amount of content in it, and the experience of playing it. It's worth it 100%
SIDE QUEST SPOILERS
The hatsune miku body pillow mission was short but so funny, it kept me incredibly entertained,,
I can say the same for the hotline miami and slenderman reference missions,, I was genuinely scared during slenderman, and the hotline bitardia was HARD!!! I has to wait an entire day to complete it lol.
The conversations of npcs talking to each other, such as the heroin story, are so entertaining!!!!!!! i was so interesting in their conversations.
great game, please play this it deserves more credit than it gets.

I don't understand 90% of the references.
I even don't understand the game.
The game is hard when you don't know what to do... and when you do something, there's always a trap or a bug.
The missions are hard, not because they are hard, but because i have to be careful for not doing something who can bug the mission (even the save system is a mess). If something is happening, you don't know if it's an event or a bug.
And curiously, i like this game. It's like going on another planet where you have to understand new laws of logic.

Definitely not for me. Very janky and confusing and not a lot of fun. Was lured in by the "classic low-budget shooters" description and I did not see any evidence of that, with the exception that it was low budget.
Refunded.

I love the idea behind the game: the internet as a 3D world.
Going in, the worst thing I expected was to be a little lost when it came to the Russian memes spread throughout it. Nothing horrendous.
But, the technological errors and iffy FPS gameplay made this an unenjoyable experience for me.
The final straw for me was when I somehow failed an enemy wave mission despite killing all the enemies and had to restart it. Without any ammo since I used it up on my first try. And no money to buy ammo because I spent it on ammo before starting the mission.
No silly internet memes or pop culture references are worth the frustration.

I like the absurdity and crudeness of the game, but the game is just such a mess. The game is difficult to get through because of how janky it is. I hope it gets much more polished in the future because it really needs it, especially the disaster that is the combat in this game.
I will gladly change my review to a positive one if the game is cleaned up, because as weird as this may sound to some people, I actually like it and see the potential it has.

Funny russian imageboard local meme fest. Unique in concept but lack of content.

4channer, 2cher, redditor, bitard or just a nornal internet denizen - you don't want to miss this game.
No matter how cheap it looks - it is choke full stuffed with good memes, silly jokes, internet culture and a real true story of the russian version of the 4chan imageboard, called 2ch. Even if you have no idea whats going on at first - i promise you will be laughing like mad, 10 minutes after the start. This one is a hidden gem.

Really nice game, if you are familiar with Russian internet culture and humor especially related to imageboards, and the stuff mentioned in Lurkmore encyclopedia. There isn't much action nor gameplay nor grafics tghe points is to walk arround, explore the game world and look for funny and weird stuff.
Totally worth buying if you are familiar with that stuff, if you are not familiar with it the game may seem even more weird and unusual to you.

There's a lot of content in this game and the insight into the Russian imageboard culture is cool. Turns out it's a lot like the english one but with lobsters. There are a variety of minigames, spoofing other games (hotline miami, hearthstone..)
However, there's no english voiceover - and there's also the fact that the game relies on FPS mechanics, but the hit detection is amazingly faulty, meaning any time you rely on combat it's a frustrating experience.
