It's great if you get it on sale at low price because it's a basic below average low effort game compared to the PS1 Game of Life.

As a game, "The game of Life" is not much to write home about: mostly chance-based, with most of the game decision being quite trivial. I would be rather disappointed if I just played it by myself.
However, it was a great game to play together with my daughter (5 y.o). Nice tool for learning such concepts as turn taking, chance, action cards, taking this or that road, risk-reward considerations and so on. Also a bunch of "life lessons" (somewhat basic, but still) to talk through: role of education, marriage, kids, how salaries work, what night school is and so on.
