This game seemed to have a lot going for it, it's incredibly affordable (I picked it up for about 50 cents) and from what I can tell offered a unique, educational experience. I'm currently collecting a variety of cheap titles while researching the Steam market, as I plan to publish my own game, and this seemed like a good one to check out. Steam says I played for 1.4 hours, though that was really idle time. From what I did play and read, the game is designed for 11 to 14 years old. However, I think the target audience might not be quite right. Kids in that age range are often more sophisticated these days, and I suspect they might find the game too simplistic to hold their interest. The gameplay looked straightforward, like a point-and-click adventure where you explore a historical setting during the plague in France. I really didn't explore very deep into it because I think I get the idea already. Perhaps there is more to it? While their approach is probably educational and has potential, it feels better suited for a younger audience. I can see younger children enjoying it while learning something valuable, but as it stands, the game might not fully engage the age group it seems to be aimed at. I won't recommend this game. I switched window to come back to the Steam Client, so I could make this review and when I switched back to the game, it seemed to have locked me out while playing some odd music. I need to make sure I don't make a game that does that when I publish. If I have time I will revisit this and I may change my review, because my perspective is from a very shallow feel of it (which is all I wanted). Sorry if this is your favourite game. I'm 50 years old, so its no surprise that I got bored of game suited mostly to pre-teens.
