I found this game kind of boring, to be perfectly frank. I nothing in it gives me a feeling of impact, as it were. It could be a a good game, but there are a lot of little things that make it less thrilling than it could be.
* Sound design in general. The music is too easily drowned out by the sounds of gunfire, and even when you can hear it it isn't very exciting. Enemies are too quiet, and your own guns don't make convincing sound effects.
* I quickly learned to spam teleports instead of dodging or using my shield. That effectively makes the "active" part of this active VR experience much less so.
* There aren't enough queues to for you to observe all the enemies around you or know where attacks are coming from.
* Enemies flash red when you hit them. That's it. It's really not comparable to seeing sparks or smoke or something. This is especially troublesome with the giant ants, since the red flashes are the only indicator that your weapons are doing anything to them.
* Animations and graphics in general don't look too good. It feels at litte like I'm inside an N64 game.
* I don't really expect a deep plot from a pedestal-shooter game, but I have no idea what I'm shooting at or why. What is a "jeeboman" anyway?
If you want a thrilling VR shooter experience, I would suggest Raw Data.

This one will probably not get much attention because of awesome games like Holopoint and Space Pirate Trainer. That's a pity because it's great fun and has its own thing going on. Unique and satisfying, although limited in scope as these types of things are.

It's a little hard to rate Jeeboman. The guns are really fun to use and this is probably one of the fastest paced VR games created (you have to stay very mobile while keeping yourself oriented and constantly shooting), which I really enjoy. It's also a really short game; it only takes me about 30 minutes to play through. In the end, this feels similar to the light gun arcade games of my childhood (like Area 51); you're not playing to win, but rather because the experience is so fun. That said, I really hope that more levels are eventually released, or at least features to encourage replays/improve your ability (like a high score system).
I definitely recommend at least trying the demo; the full game is basically a longer version of it + a final boss fight.

This is one of my favorite VR games. I always break a sweat playing it because you have to move around really fast! It's a little on the short side, but it's fun to beat the harder difficulties, and the replay value is pretty high.
EDIT: Lot's of people complain about getting swarmed from every direction. Maybe the tutorial could help, but, I have beaten this on hard. You have to KEEP ON MOVING. Never stay still for too long. Also, use the little staircase area and the area by the billboard. This is still one of my favorite games and I still play it.

Extremely enjoyable if you like frantic gameplay. I have a feeling I wouldn't like something so fast paced if it were controlled on a classic keyboard, but I was surprised how much I enjoyed it on the Vive. You have to constantly teleport as well as physically move (A tip: don't use the shield too much, it drains the battery quickly, keep teleporting). This was the first game to get me to break a sweat (and that was on normal difficulty), and unlike Space Pirate Trainer, I don't feel like my small play space limits my ability to survive.

Jeeboman:
First Impressions: Jeeboman is a colorful shooter set on the rooftops of an unknown city. The player, presumably Jeeboman must fight off incoming hordes of enemies with an array of weapons.
The Good: This game is addictive. I've beaten it on easy but the other levels are challenging enough to make you want to play them again but not too challenging as to be a Rage Quit game. In addition, all of the weapons are ridiculously balanced. You CAN use a single weapon throughout the game but I find it best to switch when necessary. The teleport mechanic is GREAT and simply works well. The pickup spawning system is really cool and adds survivability to the onslaught on oncoming enemies. The physics are great and some of the best / funniest on the market right now. One shot from a pistol can send enemies bouncing into oblivion at breakneck speeds.
The “Bad”: I put bad in quotation marks because I don’t really have any big problems with this game. However, a few details would make the game so much better. I would love to see more weapons to play around with and a bigger / more inclusive training area. In addition, the rocket tracking isn’t always the best but is okay most of the time. The game modes or limited right now and would like to see another mode implemented soon. Finally, I would like it if the enemies didn't come from directly above you so I can still see them.
Summary (TL;DR) Jeeboman is a fun little shooter that engages and keeps my attention well. For the price ($5 right now) it’s one of the best value games on the market. Seriously, if it’s still this cheap, pick up a copy and try for yourself.
All in All: Excellent 9/10

This game is mayhem and not in a good way. There are too many enemies that swarm you from all directions without any kind of indication of where they are coming from. In its current state I can't recommend it. The idea is brilliant. But execution needs some work. The game would benefit greatly from an ingame radar or similar.
Edit: The game is show shallow and there is so little to do, it's pretty easy to make this judgement with the small amount of time played.

This game is MEGA AWESOME! It is TOTALLY SIC!!! As a kid I was obsessed with The Lawnmower Man movie. I couldn't wait to get into VR. I have been playing a few VR games on the Vive to satisfy my urge for content relatively close to the Lawnmower Man movie. THIS - IS - THE - GAME!!! I love the weapons and the shields! I love the roof-top play field! I especially love the GIGANTIC bots that come up and start shooting their laser beams! I totally tripped when I saw the gigantic ants rise up from the buildings. The mini level where the gyroscope is spinning around the player is TOP NOTCH! The only thing that I would change is to ADD MORE LEVELS! I get it, for the price - it is a quick little game - BUT THIS GAME HAS TONS OF POTENTIAL! I am totally into the style/look of the game! Please keep adding to this game! Maybe the player can unlock more rooftops and then have to battle different bosses at the end of each level! Maybe the player could teleport onto the Alien Space ship? Anyhow - if you are on the fence to getting this game, I suggest you get it! I wish I got it sooner!

Looks good from the screenshots. Not so fun to play. It's like going through a meat grinder from both directions while getting clubbed in the head by angry kids.
On the plus side, the giant ants look cool and give a fun sense of scale
Just did not enjoy never being able to look around and figure out what's going on before spamming weapons. It'a all about drawing fire to your location, then teleporting to a new spot and take a few shots, rinse and repeat. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat.
First game to give me motion sickness from all the frantic looking around to figure out what the @!#% was attacking me.
And in conclusion, meh.

I love the look of this game, I like the basic design of it, it's fun practicing with the weapons in the shooting range, dodging shots, and the cool way the guns can double as melee weapons and have built-in shields. It really feels like I'm going to have a great time.
And then I start the game.
And get hit from behind. Then from above. Then from below. Then from my right-side blind-spot. Then my left-side blind-spot. Sometimes there are a bunch of enemies in front of me which I'd love to shoot, but I quickly learn that if I take the time to line up the shots I'm going to be hit from all other directions. On a few rare occasions I can manage to get the enemies concentrated in a certain direction, and my flanks are safe, so it's time to open up a can of whoop-ass, but that's when the red moving screens appear and remind me that this game isn't about that.
I beat the game on my first try on Easy, and I'm sure if I practice more I could beat the harder modes, but I'm just not having fun.
Basically, the primary game-mechanic that the designers chose to focus the gameplay on is limited FOV combined with frequent teleports. It's far more important to just keep moving and grabbing power-ups than it is to do anything else. So if you enjoy a game where the challenge is to teleport, quickly glance around and take some shots, then quickly teleport again, then you'll probably enjoy this game.
The final boss battle is the only real time I thought, "Yea, this is good." The rest of the time it was a random spinning spam-fest.
