I miss that one game where you were a dude who used some kind of space laser on the ground. I'd know it if I saw it. Has nothing to do with this game. But it makes me wish it were that one. Lode Runner? I think maybe.
Anyway, this is alright. A puzzle platformer for fans of that genre.

The looks can often be deceiving, as is the case here. At first, it seems like a game for children, but soon the chick starts blasting futuristic weapons, teleporting and building things. If you accept all the fun silly gadgets and visuals, turns out it is a rather difficult puzzle game.
You have to get all the eggs in each level, but to get them, you need to use items and avoid enemies. They have different interactions with items, and items vary quite a bit. Sometimes the challenge consists of using scarce resources, other times you have infinite amount of them and need to figure out what to do.
Some levels are big but the smaller ones are interesting and challenging. The game had difficulty spikes, I spent most of the time trying to solve several smaller levels. Also, some puzzles require quick movement, but the rewind button helps with execution and trying things out.
There are extra hidden bonuses included and even traces of ARG from portal 2 that you might be interested to read about.
From the downsides, it does not look good sometimes. Enemies freeze in mid air, or grass can grow in air. The game is grid-based, so if the area is big, it's hard to tell how many cells are exactly in empty space. Hovering the mouse reveals some grid, but there could have been an option to keep it on all the time.
You have to follow the game to access some levels, but it forgets you followed it so each time you play you unfollow and follow again, that's some silliness left in unpatched, but all levels are accessible. And one achievement can only be done during winter time.
The egg is rough around the edges but yellow on the inside.
