This is just for Supporting the developers. You also get your own name in the Game, which is cool. But you could just rename the NPC to the desired name. But its cool for supporting the devs. Atleast one dev who is creative in this kind of stuff.

Accidentally bought this when I was picking up DLCs, figured I'd try it since I couldn't refund. Email never gets sent. A complete scam. Will be taking this up with Steam unless they fix this.

DO NOT BUY THIS. My name was approved almost two years ago and never made it into the game. I gave Michael from Ludeon support my purchase information on February 24th and still haven't received a response. Ludeon has acknowledged the issue of in-game names vanishing from the game in a post on their subreddit but not on Steam, where people who made the purchase would see it, and not on their official Discord development server, where they direct users to report bugs. The discord server is full of reports regarding missing in-game names going all the way back to the 1.5/Anomaly release. They've been aware of the problem for months but the only news items I see on Steam are regarding merch drops and bundle sales. In my case, the name NEVER made it into the game and support is unresponsive. Because updates are months apart, Steam won't refund your purchase by the time you've realized Ludeon pocketed your money without putting your name in the game. This is a scam.
