I loved the game, so sad they abandoned it for Wurm Online. I do like that to, but WU just had so much more.
If you get WU, be ware that its abandoned by Code Club long ago and solely survive off of the mod developers that keep servers alive. They are just cashing in on others work from here on. :)

Really great game. Not for everybody. You will always have something to do and have hours and hours of leveling up skill and game play, but be warned there is a lot of grinding. This game is not for those who are impatient. This is one of my favorite go to games. Just make sure you join a good server with lots of people because your going to need a good community with lots of support and help from other players. All the servers are privately ran with some of them being done very professionally with a store to buy coin and other very nice perks.

I give this a recommend but this unabashedly has to be your kind of game to be enjoyable.
If you like games that are slow burn and focus on the experience of building and creating rather than intense action, you might enjoy Wurm. It scratches an itch for categorization and improvement that almost no other game out there does. It's janky, it's not pretty, it's not -that- intuitive, but it'll be fun if this is your kind of fun.
