Do not buy, Do not play, if you are interested at all, flame the Devs on the forum and continue reporting their financials for review, they have been farming a small community of addicted players for decades now and delivered about 4 innovative updates in all of this time, Also Wurm Unlimited was abandoned and sectioned away from Wurm Online content or development/upkeep/service support entirely, these are the scum of the Cosmos, they should all be in prison suffering for the rest of their lives. and Kieran deserves the the biggest penalty for all the sick shit he has done HUGE PEDOPHILE!!!!!!!!!

Two notable issues with this game, so while I like Wurm Online, I'll be refunding this one.
Firstly, it requires copying files around in the game folder to stop the game crashing on launch on Linux, unacceptable for a game that costs 23 pounds when Wurm Online works just fine. In case you need help, here's the forum post that fixed it:
"If I remember correctly, I had an error concerning the libsteam_api.so file at first and I fixed it by copying that file from /WurmLauncher/nativelibs directory into the /WurmLauncher directory. I would try copying that file and the libSteamClientJni.so file and see if that helps."
Secondly, this game lacks Third Person entirely, and the First Person camera is nauseating, at least in my opinion- your only option is modding the game to get a third person camera, which feels a bit sus for a game I'm playing in multiplayer, so I decided not to bother.
Play Wurm Online instead.

Lots of skills to level up, and if you manage your own server you can make it as hard/easy as you want. Lots of freedom to build as you please, if you put the effort in.

This game is incredibly good, especially as single player or small group. Without the MMO (and monetization) aspect, this game offers a lot and seems to have the potential for endless hours of gameplay.
