Forget Total War Ancient China and choose this instead it captures the period far better. This game without drowning you in details lets you play a truly engrossing game that lets you feel you are living in the world of Sun Tzu and the warring states.

I don't have a PHD in turn-based strategy games but I will say that this game does capture that feel, or mindset, of "just one more turn before bed" exactly like you'd want a turn-based game to do. It's worth the buy if it's on sale.
