Dungeon of the Endless™ - Deep Freeze Add-on is a smaller add on but I still enjoyed the content it had to offer. I like the new playable hero and I took to the new pod fairly well. I would recommend this to anyone looking to extend there Dungeon of the Endless playtime.

So, I've tried now SEVERAL TIMES to unlock the "Refreezerator"-Pod ... it states, that in a winning game, the crystal isn't supposed to get damaged.
I had at least 3 of those rounds, where I was pretty sure, that I managed THAT!
Still ... so my last attempt:
I specifically took a team in the armory pod! With ONLY that ONE MISSION!!!!
-->>> CRYSTAL WON'T GET DAMAGED!!! And you know WHAT? IT DIDN'T GET DAMAGED ONCE!
AND you ALSO KNOW WHAT? STILL NO Refreezerator - POD!!!
WTF?!?!
THIS MUST BE SOME STUPID BUG, that I CANNOT UNLOCK the Refreezerator Pod!

"Mixed" is not a correct evaluation for this DLC. Refreezerator is the best ship add-on (playing solo character) and Kreying is a decent character to add to the mix

This is an Okay Addition to the Base Game of DotE
You have to UNlock the Refridgerator Pod for Use in Game. I would have expected a DLC to unlock all its content automatically otherwise it is called an Expansion.
I would still recommend as the Hero is nice and this Game Mode once you unlock it, is challenging as it forces you to Solo.

Just beat the game for the first time and I must say I had tons of fun! Even though I have lost 52 heroes in total on my runs and killed more than 8k monsters to get at this point, totally worth it!!! Such an amazing soundtrack and design, a beautiful game, hiding a brutal mechanics for a seemingly unforgiving gameplay with a very unique learning curve experience. I have unlocked almost all the characters by now and tried at-least once all of them. If you are fun of the tower defence genre with a good twist of character progression then this is a must have! 10/10

For its asking price (more than 50% of the base game), the content it provides is rather disappointing. The new gamemode is pretty challenging, but that's just about it: just a new gamemode with some challenges. In this mode, you can only use one hero for the entire playthrough though he/she/it is buffed by quite a bit. You also can't quick heal using food so taking damage is pretty dangerous. The new hero is a decent tank. And that's about it for the DLC.
It's not a bad DLC, just a little overpriced I feel. Probably better to get it when it's on sale though. You won't be missing out much even if you don't get it. The base game is much fun, even on its own.

Adds a single spaceship/dungeon to the roster in the shape of the freezer which puts a single slightly beefed character against the hordes of gribblies awaiting in the darkness. Honestly it is not a bad DLC and since you most likely get the whole package nowadays just count your blessings..
Oh and you also get to play as a dragonkin! Now that is worth the cash in itself!

You get one new spaceship (game mode) and one new hero. The spaceship is rather disappointing only tweaking a few things. It wasn't as fun as the others lacking any real change in game mechanics. It's really just one hero instead of the usual four you have. The new hero is also not adding much new in terms of game mechanics.

The Game itself is great and totally worth your money. But i wouldn't recommend this DLC even with its low price. You are not missing out on anything. It feels like a "mini cashgrab" they haven't put much effort into. Understandable if you consider that this was originally just a bait to get people to buy the Endless Legend Emporer Edition.

I love the design of the new hero and spaceship. My only complaint is that I have to unlock the ship I paid for. the ship should just be unlocked after you pay for the DLC.
