I like it. I've had to use items to make it through fights when I had no mages for the jelly dudes but I think they do that on purpose, otherwise who would use them.

Love the structure of the game, but it takes too long to get to the good part. Almost dropped it.

Start was fun, but game gets repetitive, like going through same zone multiple times, in multiple zones. I am currently on last chapter it is literally all the same bosses from original FF4 and moon in different colour, there still ways to go and probably only last boss is gonna be new one, I won't be surprised if it is the same one. Maybe I made mistake by playing it immediately after finishing FF4 PR.
I recommend to just replay original game, you'll get much better experience.
If you still want to play it, buy it on discount.
Edit:
Now one of the band skills crashes my game for some reason.
Final Edit:
Finished the game, at least last boss was not zeromus recolor. The crash apparently only happens in one specific fight. My opinion of the game did not change.

This game is for the people who wants to know what happens to our beloved charcters from FFIV after the end of the game. You get to play as each of the characters in mini campaigns and see how they have matured. There is a lot of parents-child drama but in a good way.

Really bad sequel to a classic. The story is a repeat from the first one, and it makes you go through the same dungeons, multiple times, with dumbed down versions of the characters. It's also very unbalanced. Characters finish their chapters in different level ranges, so when you assemble them in the last chapter, some characters are A LOT weaker than others.
I'm finishing it because I want to clear every mainline FF game, but I do not recommend it otherwise.

This game kinda feels like the original blueprint for octopath traveller.
Nice segmented stories that eventually all tie in together, I love FF4 and this game is a great homage to that title, although a little different.
Story is nice, gameplay is classic, not much can go wrong here. Not too sure what some of these reviews are complaining about tbh.
