This game has caused me unimaginable pain and misery over the years. I've almost got 1000 hours on my Xbox filled with dozens of memories of pure rage and heartbreak that I wouldn't trade for anything. I never cared about the graphics, just the experience which was always enjoyable despite infuriating. The intro music on it's own is enough to make you stand up and dance dramatically as if you're in an intense action packed trailer for an award winning, Oscar worthy movie. If you want a game that will make you sob, throw and break something out of unspeakable anger, make you question you're sanity and has dinosaurs then this is your game, and I couldn't recommend it more. P.S. I can so longer play it on PC as it erases all my progress after I've made any kind of progression for something that I cannot for my life figure out. Nobody else seems to have the same issue so I've found no advice. If you know how I might be able to fix it please let me know!!

I have been playing ark for quite a time. Got about 1k hours and almost all bosses on alpha. So the thing in ark is that this game has so many great ideas and dinos. And is just cool to explore, until you get killed by a bug. Sadly thats not very uncommon. And even when you want to retrieve your stuff, its probably under the map or stuck in a wall. And there is nothing changing about that ever. Another thing is that it is NOT beginner friendly. If you have no friend who had played ark its gonna be pretty devastating. And you have to get many infos from youtube videos because the game dosent tell you much. But once you get the hang of it the bosses and breeding is fun.

i have 8k hours on epic games so its without mods and this game is fantastic

Buggy, frame rate dives, and every other obnoxious thing a game can do. On the other hand, it is the single most addictive game I have ever played. If you can get past all the moments that make you pull out your hair, this game might become your life.

Game has always been a good one for me, even went as far to fully 100% the fucking thing, its well worth it. Nice story and maps are nice, also has its PVP side on top or PVE.

This is a very fun game. 10/10 Very glitchy. Lots of mods. Lots of servers.

This game made me shed a tear, not because of the beauty of it, not because of the countless years of memories I have from playing this game with friends, no, it was not a single tear of joy, but a tear of sadness. Not because of the pain I feel when hackers destroy my base or when random players give me swamp fever, but I shed tears of sorrow when I looked at what was taking up my storage on my computer and I saw Ark, and it took up half of my storage space, half a terabyte, "why?" I asked as I looked up to the skies, almost as if I was asking God how such a thing could be, but nothing could be good enough of a reason. Painful, trapped inside my own misery, my own personal hell, a game to play that I find enjoyable, will stop me from playing any other game, because I will never have enough storage to play anything else, until I delete that. And that is the reason, "it's genius" I thought, their strategy is to take up your storage to the point where you have nothing left to be able to play, well played.
