Bad form Sega just removing sonic games from the collection but leaving the achievements, so people can't complete the list, absolute crap Sega.

i payed for 50 games and it’s showing only one game sonic spin ball. what a ripoff

Solid collection, but its recent delisting has left it impossible to complete some achievements... yay!

Sega delisting this collection is a very anti-consumer move, and makes them look really bad. I really hope there's a good reason for them to delist the collection, like if they're working on a whole new collection of Sega Genesis games, or a collection of classic Sega games in general.

I only bought GunStar Heroes. Even then, the quality is not good. Maybe we shouldn't feel bad after these games got delisted since Sega put out something that makes me regret spending .99 cents. I don't care what you think too, I legally bought trash that I will emulate. Thanks Sega! (^o^)

this was a great collection before they removed the sonic games... but even after, its still a great collection. the mod scene for it is fantastic. i like the aeshetics, n emulation feels pretty good. plus, we can take the roms to use on any emulator we choose, we dont need to use segas if we dont want. solid collection.

I would play longer but I know I have responciblities and I like taking breaks here and there to drink water or eat FRUIT.

December 6th. It was the last day to obtain SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics. This was originally the only way to officially play SEGA's select Genesis games on PC through the use of their own emulator. The delist for both Sonic The Hedgehog's main-line Genesis games and this is equally sad. To even play Sonic The Hedgehog's classics officially, you have to go through Sonic Origins which is *FINE.* It offers "Classic Mode" but really its just a downgrade from their Anniversary Version of the games. However, there are people who prefer to play the true original games without having to shill more money to SEGA. Which now is impossible to do it officially in their comfort of their own seat and this computer without emulating it. At this point, its best to emulate it unofficially using a third-party emulator if you wish to continue playing it on PC without Sonic Origins. Overall, its just sad we have to go to Sonic Origins to continue playing Sonic The Hedgehog's original line-up and the other Genesis games now unable to even be played without third-party emulation. It would be a dream come true for SEGA to listen to their customers who gave them money in the first place and relist these games and the original forms of Sonic The Hedgehog including this game. However, that isn't gonna happen anytime soon. I'm late, but for the people who still own this game and the other games, consider yourself lucky.

For its time, I found it a fair exchange to legally purchase ROMs without any BS. Unfortunately there's not as much money in that compared to repackaging them or putting them behind a subscription service. I respect the original concept but not the decision of delisting it to avoid competing with yourself. A similar sentiment towards the also delisted Dreamcast Collection.
