This is a chill Space Exploration game but you should not have big expectations. The visuals are cute, 3d effects on "kinda" 2d space looks nice. The combat is not bad and the story keeps you busy first maybe 10h or so. Unfortunately the game is plagued by - Limited visual assets (all systems look the same, too few types of enemies, space stations are the same etc.) - Very easy to earn money. Even with very difficult settings, you get super rich in the first 10-15h and if you use your skills correctly you get to the end game ships / items way too early. That means rest of the game you'll not feel any improvement other than your skills. - And the most worst part is you travel between systems in the same pace. At the beginning maybe very little but in late game you'll use autopilot and ignore all enemies 90% of the time because the quests are the main resource of money and xp. I still like what they did here, I can give a 5/10 and good to try as it's a pretty cheap game. But I was not able to finish main story unfortunately.

It's not bad just really in need of polish. Void Expanse does a lot of things just fine just not well enough to make it stand out. If you're a fan of such games you'd probably enjoy it a bit but not necessarily more than anything else.
