Really wanted to try the game but it just won't pick up my mic well enough, I tried a bunch of different settings but no matter what it just won't pick up my mic unless I scream while eating it.

Cool concept, bad execution. The game is not built around the main feature of the game, which was the main draw for me. I feel like this game is based on an older game with a very similar colour pallete and system, however everything this other game did was better than how this one was made. Its actually pretty easy to make this game's main feature actually function as a fun gimmick. First of all, make more things make sound! Once of the biggest disadvantages about this sound gimmick is that once you are forced to go silent, you are blind, completely. This is a really big problem when the bad guy is nearby, since you don't know where it is or your surrounding terrain. Since you can hear the enemy move around, why not let it make noise with each footstep like you do? Also throwables like mugs or plates would make everything so much easier, especially since the enemy will target the latest sound made. An added bonus would be to make the single bad guy not lock onto you after you make too much noise nearby him, either make him sprint to the last heard sound, or keep him locked onto you as long as you make noise or when you are in his sound radius or something. Currently the gimmick of echolocation is a complete debilitation to the player. I cannot genuinely recommend this game until the issue of the gimmick being not fun at all is fixed
