i feel like society as a whole is getting dumber everyday. yes its a mobile port but that doesn't make it "not a rpg" like some of the reviews suggest. yes there is a store but you don't need to spend any money to progress, i swear people just like complaining

150 Hours review: This game had such potential, but once you start playing, it becomes clear, P2W and timers prevent you from progressing too quickly. Some things were very annoying and you realize they cut a lot of corners in development. For instance. seeing the same 20-25 NPCs you interact where only the voice and facial hair changes. This through me off at first when following the story line. Limited character appearance and gear appearances. Even when you upgrade armor, it still looks the same. Its not open world, rather, its the appearance of open world with strict rails to guide you directly to content locations. The real issue with this game is that it lacks true content. There is a decent story line to follow, but you hit many leveling walls that stunt your progress, so you are forced to level up both alts, so you end up running same content 3x to unlock enough materials to upgrade your gear/jewelry. The world boss spawns on a timer, but is not very challenging, and the whales (Players who spends lots of $$ to max their gear) kill it within a few seconds. The problem is you do not have time to do at least 1% boss damage at lower levels, so you get zero rewards. Also, there are about 6-8 types combat/puzzle zones that are repeated throughout the map, just different patterns and 5 dungeons that last for about 5 mins each. Other than the story line and your first run through experience, the game quickly becomes boring and repetitive, and the money grab becomes obvious. It was okay to experience, but I do not see this game sticking around long term.

Without an option to start over with character creation, this game is not worth the investment.

Beautiful game and true to the GOT universe, all nicely wrapped up in a micro-transaction tornado. Seriously, its insane.

I tried to like this game as I love GOT. I even pumped a little money into it since it is F2P. This has to be the most confusing game ever made. Menus are disjointed, momentum is a terrible way to level and the set research can actually penalize if you pick the wrong one. Pass this one up.

To be fair the gameplay is fun & the story is good too, but it contains extreme mini transaction, its a huge turn off..

It starts out as a fun game with interesting quest and challenges. But the game starts to stall you from proceeding into the adventurer forcing you to grind or pay to build momentum which makes you char strong enough to beat a boss. It also has a low drop rate for mats to creating armor and jewelry at a epic or legendary build to help with the Momentum you need. I don't have a problem grinding to achieve a epic or legendary Item. however, the game also makes it hard to grind as you are charged Copper and RP points to complete any challenge. So you are forced two wait days to figure out ways to earn copper and RP points to even try to get one of the item you need to drop. The Dragon world boss fight is the best way to get Legendary jewelry drops, but that is like a pyramid scheme, as only the top three players who do the most damage to the dragon have a chance a legendary drop. Obviously, this Dragon boss is camped by the highest level players in the game to win any possible drops over and over again, So I have found no help building my Chars momentum fighting the dragon. I am now at level 33 with 80 plus thousand momentum. Only to find my sell stuck on the quest Needle in a haystack on the win a contest portion of the quest. I have the skill to win these fights, but now they have a timer that requires you to beat the 3 opponents. I make it to the last fight only find failing because a will need more momentum to beat them faster. It is getting harder and harder to find a way to play the game because it is getting almost in possible to find more ways to build more momentum. Look, I like a game that is challenging, but I feel this game is like a slot machine more than an RPG, It is hard to walk away from the game, But I feel like I am being played more the I get to play. I like the game, but it needs to be fixed. I bought the game out right in the pre-released so it was never free for me to play the game, and at the time did not realize it was a pay to play game game I was buying. I know, a sucker born every minute and two to take him.
