Debut Project: Cooking Café Reviews

Gamer girlies, RISE UP! (and gamer guys, but i dunno, you got baldurs gate or whatever...) I was really confused by the negative reviews, so going into this game I was nervous. I am even more confused now, because this game is so freaking cute and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Yes, its not as "difficult" as other cooking games *cough cough, the mother whom cooks cough cough*. Sometimes you don't want that? It doesn't make this a bad cooking game. First of all, yes, the way you make the foods is overall pretty simple. BESIDES MAKING SANDWICHES. WHY DO MY GRAPES ALWAYS ROLL OFF MY SANDWICH? IF IM MAKING ONE OF THOSE CREAM FRUIT SANDWICHES, MY GRAPE SHOULD STAY IN PLACE! WHY DOES IT ROLL OFF MY ORANGE?!?!?! anyways <3 I still REALLY enjoyed the foods I've created. You start off with (if i recall) 1-2 foods. You get to pick which food you'd like to learn first. After that, you slowly unlock new recipes by cooking more, getting good scores, and getting lots of likes. What are likes?? wow look at u, u must touch grass. Likes are just as they sound like, likes. This game has an in game unnamed social media. You, the chef they hired to cook (yet they have to teach u how to cook? yeah ok) decide to create a social media page for all the foods you make. Part of the game is to grow followers and get lots of likes. (followers give you building upgrades, likes give you new character titles and recipes) I weirdly like getting likes and followers. I'm someone who enjoys working towards a goal, and this goal is getting more and more followers. SPEAKING OF GOALS! you ALSO have literal goals. Each month you get 3 goals. My current ones are take X amount of orders (you naturally get this one), take 4 sandwich orders, and get 300 likes. It's another fun thing to work towards in an overall stressfree, fun game. So yeah, negative reviews, this game isn't super duper hard. but again, go play sumn else? for my girly gamers, my GGG gamers, MY GORLS, this game is saur cute. THE ART IS ADORABLE! you can change your look whenever you want. which i love. slay. yes fashion QUEEN ! KWUEEN! !!! The only gripe I have with the game is like.. when you finish making your food, you gotta decorate it and add toppings. but its not like... how do i word this. ill edit this later to sound better. but it has a glowy spot that you just drop the topping onto. you dont get to pick where it goes. its like a magnet almost. which, half the fun is picking where to decorate. but alas. its ight. You can also add extra toppings after you do what is needed, and that part is fun. I added an octopus sausage and all of the social media comments were like SAUSAGE WOWOWOW it was great 10/10 LET ME JUST SAY. THE WRITING IS WEIRDLY VERY FUNNY? i have a screenshot on my page of one thing, but there's so many funny moments. you technically have a stalker kinda in this game? But, i dunno. I think it's worth it. I've barely played 2 hours and i'm really happy with it. I look forward to unlocking everything the game has to offer and seeing the foods i can make. Yes, it is sometimes repetitive but again, im not expecting a cooking mother game.
