Finally a bomberman clone for the PC I have been waiting over 10 years after Atomic Bomberman which was multiplayer only. This is a fine upgrade, It doesn't try anything radical new but there is no need to the old concept still works fine. Campaign mode is actually quiet hard and you really have to grind your teeth in this one. On the other hand skirmish AI is pretty dump though. Mostly kills itself pretty quickly. For the price definitely a worth buy.

Not sure how this is legal but it's certainly legit. Awsome clone of a classic game, epic soundtrack, have a blast!

All right. Lets get the big thing out of the way. This game blatantly copies the Bomberman series. Like REALLY blatantly. Even the icon designs look like they were taken directly from the titles. As such, you'll be seeing a lot of comparisons between this game and that series in this review. The game is rather challenging and will be quick to ramp up the challenge from level to level, even early on. Unlike some games which will give you a small taste of a new trap or enemy before throwing them at you in full force, this game takes a trial by fire mentality. Those looking for a challenge will probably like what this game has to offer, just be prepared to adapt quick. Sadly, stages also tend to lack much variety from one another so the single player mode does get repetitive. Aesthetically the game doesn't quite have the charm of the series that inspired it. The music is all taken from public domain and mostly seems rather understated. One problem that arises from the aesthetics is the playable character's design. Due to his bulkiness, it becomes difficult to tell if he is safely hidden from an explosion or still in the line of fire. Multiple self destructs have resulted from me trying to determine the character's hitbox. Of course, given the inspiration, the game has a multiplayer battle mode. and if you liked it in Bomberman than you're in luck because it's literally an exact copy of everything from those games, from the level designs, to the power-ups to the stage gimmicks. Overall it's a decent game. Not as good as the series it's clearly trying to be, but given the state of the Bomberman franchise ever since Konami bought it, this is probably the closest to a sequel we're getting for a long while.

Many parts of this game are fun, and it's passable as long as you get this game on the cheap. The worst part of this game is that it's clear that the levels are horribly designed. The pathways are randomly generated, along with the powerups. So if you start a level and die, you'll restart it with a randomly generated map. That in and of itself is not the bad part of this game. It's that many of the maps generated are so hard that superhuman timing and luck would be needed to be able to clear it. Or you could get a generated map where you never had a chance in the first place.

All in all, this is not a good Bomberman clone. The online play is no longer available, the soundtrack is all remixed versions of songs that are very old and probably in the public domain and don't feel like they belong in the game at all, the voiceovers are terrible and sound like they were recorded in an empty racquetball court, even the one player battle mode is no fun cos the computer opponents just vibrate in place until they have a reason to move, making it way too easy to just hunt them down one by one, it's also hard to tell exactly where your hitbox is cos your characters holds his arms out in front of him, making it easy to get blown up cos you weren't standing perfectly between two blocks. Oh, and you can't even use the d-pad ffs. Don't even get this if it's on sale, it's not even worth 5 bucks.

Unfairly difficult (single player). I have no idea what the devs were thinking. I cannot even finish the 2nd world. Each NPC in the map will "play" like the most tactical p*ssy ever. The biggest design problem is that enemies literally STOP and basically camp and hide behind the cover. It's extremely difficult to kill them even if you have multiple remote-detonating bombs. Now THAT is messed up. They actively going around to get you and the power up too. It's like playing with 8 really good humans who you have to eliminate in 5 minutes. It's nearly impossible.

A bomberman clone to the bones, which is great news for me as i really love Bomberman games since i was a child. this game has the exact same gameplay, from the commentary when collecting power-ups to the stage hazards and even the power-ups are the same from the bomberman games. (1-5 players can play locally) and in case you don't know what Bomberman is. the game main objective is to kill your enemies with the blast from your bomb. the camera is as you see from the screenshots is top-down view, the maps has randomly generated blocks patterns. you start with a weak bomb and you use it to break the blocks and collect power-ups like (longer blast radius, ability to place more than 1 bomb at a time, ability to throw your bomb or push it...etc. if you have friends to play with then this game is a blast to play for sure.

[b] Look honestly considering that game was make in 2014 since so i see there are not updates anymores for game, if you want to buy just for play story mode/singleplay then it is right to you and i high recommend it but first please read my review and my points to you know if game really worth or no.... in First place the game is pretty cool but really extremely very hard and challenger that makes you angry sometimes, sadly there is no option for changing the difficulty in-game, on which it should have and it make me a bit mad about this question, the second problem is that game seems to have a bit poor and bad physics but still the biggest problem in my opinion it's what when you die, you no have extra life or whatever, you have to start all again unlike the classic superbombermans that you had like 2 or 3 life extra for survive, the only well complicated part is about fighting against the bosses, considering that first boss of game is already well hard if you dont know how to play or have a good strategy for winning against first boss of game also it means that you have no very resources or items to fight against the hard bosses, you only have +1 speed +1 bomb and +fire damage all that you need to won it's doing a good strategy possible, be smart, think and have pacience to won against those bosses every boss in this game is more hard than other what you already faced i had very diffulcate to fight against wild boss and final ''spark boss'' you have to watch those videos and study + think about how to won against they, but the most hardest of all it's spark boss, i was passing hours fighting against it for finally won But again i dont want to make game looks bad, i believe the game is still very good and you can have fun playing the single player mode, or multiplayer against IA, i just think that game need new updates and possible a remake of it since sadly the developer abandoned the game, it was pretty cool though Pros: Good maps Good and interesting achievements Good looking Graphics Good Soundtrack interesting enemies Funny and fun sometimes Against: Extremely hard (it should have a option to balance it) Multiplayer online didn't work Has no more ''updates'' Has no extra life You are limited to have resources and any type of item to fight the boss little bad physics and sometimes a bit ''bugged'' You sometimes die fast and easy for something Final note 8/10 i do recommend more for gamers who are really ''hardcore'' Now for casual players, i can recommend too if you want to have some fun and interesting diffulcates (a new experience), that's your choice

I have bought this game for 3 other guys in our group, with the intention to play ONLINE.(multiplayer). Since the start we haven't been able to play either LAN/WAN. Latest update (should solve alot of issues). Still no joy. Been giving this game quite the time and chances to improve through some updates. Buy now ? NO. Why ? Simple, no multiplayer games/servers whatsoever. Unless you want to play Singleplayer with OP end-bosses, feel free to spend your hard earned bucks on this game. [Update] Ports are forwarded and reachable. Used different probing tools to show they are reachable. [/Update]
