Я искренне надеялся, что это игра по мотивам Безумного Макса Никогда ещё так не ошибался I sincerely hope that this is a game based on MAD MAX: Fury Road I`ve never been so wrong

Why is the game full of uncredited remixed Commodore 64 music? Why does sound only come out of the right speaker? Why doesn't my joypad work? WHY? WHY? WHYYY?

Early note: This review is typical with my review of Platypus II. Just copy it and edit some sentences. BIG WARNING, DON"T BUY THIS GAME! EVEN DON'T EVER TRY IT! I bought it through Platypus Mega Pack Bundle, which is the Platypus (1) is really great 100/100. But this one, also Platypus II, are damn-I-can't-speak-aggresive/rude-words; my point is this game is very irritating, as a Platypus fan and/or arcade-shooter lover. Terrible controls, bad design, etc. Fully unplayable. I don't know if DRM-free version are better or not, will try it later. Steam didn't grant my refund request -which is sad, even I made big note that I will still buy Platypus 1 if it (the pack) refunded. So if You're here because You love so much to Platypus 1, better You consider this review and don't even buy the bundle; or same regrets as mine. Overall points: 0.87, per 100. Sorry. Final note: If You see my playhours of this game increased/high enough, I'm just idling for Steam Trading Cards. Better than regrets for nothing at all.

So sucky sucky man. Who was the developer of that game ffs. Worst game i have ever played. So poor design, so bad and sucky mehanics. So bad it shouldn't even be free. The game doesn't even have proper resoluton settings. I mean Half-life from 1998 has better resoluton then that. Level design is so bad that i want to play agar.io in 2018. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME !

Got it for the cards. Played these games when I was a kid forever ago. They(Nux, Platpus I and II) do look unique, but IMO Platypus is the only "good" game out the three. Recommending this game mainly out of nostalgia and cards, but with the game being minimized issue, I cannot really recommending it positively. As a note to the devs- It'd be nice that when anyone has the game minimized the mouse should not be locked to a certain small area, so they can do other things on their pc while the game is minimized without any issues. Also- Nux(-90%), Platypus(-80%), and Platypus II(-90%) were on sale for a week. $2.77=Price of purchasing games individually. $2.99= Price of buying them in a bundle. Usually buying the bundle is cheaper, but in this case it was not.

----Protip: if you really must play it and you get a choppy main menu that flashes through different screens, try restarting your PC and relaunching the game---- Nux is an example of a game that should be free. Even if it were, I couldn't recommend it. There are so many better free games out there. In all honesty, the developers should pay YOU for playing, given that you'll feel like a beta tester. You've got 3 main gameplay styles, none of which are fun and all of which have severe gameplay issues. The first is a vertically scrolling shooter, which suffers from an overly-large ship with an overly-large hitbox. And it's boring. The second style is a lander-style game, where you drift down to the ground and only control side to side movement and thrusters while avoiding obstacles and refueling. Again, your ship and hitbox are too large. And it's boring. The third style is a side scroller where you collect items for your ship. Yeah, your hitbox is large and you can't fire and shoot at the same time, either. And it's bo--you get the idea. The technical side is just awful; the game runs in low resolution with mono (you heard that right) sound. And by mono, I literally mean it comes out of one speaker. Nothing about Nux is fun or polished and it feels like a (poorly done) student project. This is not worth any money or your time. It's a real shame, because claymation games are few and far between, and always an interesting style for a game. But hey, the music's not bad.

I remember as a little kid really wanting to play this game so bad after seeing the advert for it in Platypus 2, but not being able to ever find a working version of it. Well, now that I finally own a working (and legit, not pirated) version of it... I can safely say this is very likely the worst game I've ever played. The levels are horribly imbalanced, and it's full of bugs such as sprites being misaligned and having black bars at their edges. Don't waste your money on this game.

One good thing: claymation. Everything else is terrible. Controls are bad, UI is clunky, gameplay is horribly balanced, and the game has so many bugs it feels like it's an alpha build.

I thoroughly enjoyed being able to compete with my own scores. It felt pretty satisfying when exploding things. I love it. The power ups were really nice.
