Ubisoft ruined this game, I'm bout yap but the short and long of it is that Its now a soulless cash grab where new characters get brand new op mechanics that break the game and are conveniently priced so you have to spend real money if you don't wanna make it your new 9-5. I had the game on ps4 since it first came out, I played it bunch until they started making new heroes. I would hop on week here or there, every-time i would get on the multiplayer would get worse. The story mode is the same as its been the whole time which I rate 7/10 probably just for nostalgia mostly. It was better on release day then it is right now, not worth buying unless your nostalgic for the story mode because you've played it before. Don't even bother playing multiplayer unless this is the only game you play. They add new characters with insanely overpowered mechanics lock then behind a paywall. A long range guard break was first, then a move that punishes parrying with no counter-play other then giving up parrying and letting them light spam you to death, meta is awful. Arcade is joke too. Grey missions are cake, but god forbid you turn it up one and now I have the 3 of most op heroes, AI turned up harder then realistic campaign triple buffed all aggro off rip and regenerating, like do y'all not understand that you slowing ramp up the difficultly. The characters used to move smoothly, they would swing the sword around to the other side to attack, now they just have them start the attack animation instantly from the other side so there is no time to react, if you don't live on top of a server your cooked. Only thing they could do to salvage is make a mode for the only 12 og heros.and bans the others

Such a cool game with a really interesting concept. Unfortunately the multiplayer (90% of the game) is horrifically bad in practice. Ive played through the campaign multiple times on the hardest difficulty, its fun as hell even if the story is weak and unsatisfying. If you play this do yourself the favor of pretending that's all there is.

This is one of the worst high quality games I have ever played. A player that has spent thousands of hours mastering the game play can lose to someone with worse ping, or just someone pushing buttons. The skill ceiling on paper is pretty impressive, but in practice 80 percent of the player base just pushes buttons and throw random attacks praying that it works. I don't have a lot of hours in this game, but I used to play on console and I have watched probably triple my hours of game play and I can confidently say this is not a game for people who like to have intense 1v1 duels, its more of a game for people who like to gamble.

this game was nice, but there's not any dedication or heart to it. aside from the ocassional new hero, similar to black desert, it's kind of a thing you can pop in on and than fade away again for awhile. cause it's not that great besides the fun combat. cosmetics really arent anything unless your not free to play. as everything takes weeks to grind up to. it just had a lot going for it that just.... failed. and anti cheat is there so you can't mod the games cosmetic's to be more interesting. overall the life of this game, like so many other's. would extend if the dev's opened up to creativity. even if they did something like baldur's gate 3 did, where they have in game moderated mods. it would overall make the game much more enjoyable and probably resurrect it

Hey you? Want a new game? Want to be amazing at everything and anything? Dont but this game... Wanna get fucked in every way? Spend hours training and learning just to die to spam? This is the game for you! Rage, scream, break a couple of controllers while your at it! Wanna learn this game on M&K? Forget about it! Mouse and Keyboard sucks! I bought this game in its beta when gamestop was a good company, I've been addicted to the assbeatings and ragebait in every single match since! 10/10 for Story 1/10 for Community 100/10 for gameplay -1000/10 for use of braincells

other than steam I've had 2000+ hrs on the PS4, the game itself is built on a great concept but as typical of any Ubisoft game, content is sparse,.... unless they pickup the pace wouldn't seriously recommend it

balancing is out the window and the servers are even worse. This ain't the game I remember buying but somehow it sucks me back in every time...

This game was made by people who only want to see the world burn. Every time I play this game, it makes me suicidal. Constant bugs, glitches and delayed game response. Not to mention the community is ass, worst community ever. Do I still play it though? Yes.

Pls don't let this game die. It is too special. There is no other game like this. Ppl are complaining about broken matchmaking but that's because there's less than 10k players left and a daily max of 5k players on steam (avg 2800 at one time). It's insane that they're still updating this game but I'm glad they are. I suck at comp games but I still love it

It is a great game with such a unique and fun combat system, but its owned by such an awful company that couldnt care less for the game
