It's a great game, not regret for a minute or every hour you spend playing it. Try and will not regret that you start playing.

Look this is a hidden gem. Maybe it has some issue. It does. And maybe it could have been better. It could have. But its fun and it give you that one more turn feeling that we all know and love and keeps us up way past the time we should have gone to bed.

Eador is great fun and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy genre games. There is a lot of strategic depth and the choices about how to play are limited by your imagination with the classes. The imbalances are not ridiculous. The world difficulty is challenging and customisable. The story is long and interesting. The moral dilemmas and perspectives are also interesting. I played it for several days without getting bored. A good value game, even for veteran gamers like me, to enjoy for many long hours. It has strategies available which seem powerful yet it never feels easy if you play on higher difficulty. It is fun to build up your power over time in the form of energy which you can spend on heros, items and units to transport between maps and conquer shards (seperate maps) to unlock new secrets of building, spells and units. Graphics 6 Gameplay 8.5 Sounds 6.5

Very difficult TBS game, even on Beginner. Can be very frustrating till you learn the systems but people willing to plow through and figure it out will be rewarded with a very fun Built on the shoulders of games like Master of Magic, amazing Turn-based Strategy game

This DLC makes what was already one of my favorite games a great deal more enjoyable. I love the variety of new units, which prevents the game from getting stale no matter how long I have played it. Discovering and choosing the perks each unit gains as they increase in levels makes your battle tactics change as the game progresses, keeping it fun from beginning to end. Highly recommended for the lucky bunch who are capable of finding enjoyment in the base game.

AI cheats ridiculously on normal difficulty. It'll come back at you every few turns with a full army that requires no upkeep - it can also hire expensive guards with no upkeep. This completely ruins what could be a great game.

This is a fun game for those who enjoy strategy within a fantasy setting. It DOES work with windows 8, (my OS), which was my primary concern. The game does possess a slight learning curve for those, (like me), who've never played an ealier version of the game...just work with the tool tips at the beginning and you'll do fine. The graphics are nice, the music offers that sense of adventure and conquest. The gremlin I do find a little annoying...which I think was the point. I purchased this game and it's DLC for just over five bucks, including tax...it's a steal and worth several times that, I'd have bought it for twenty and not felt ripped off...fun game.

DLC adds more units with unique abilities, more items, more variety. Makes the tactical combat even deeper and more exciting than in MOTB. A must buy for fans!

Excellent addition of much needed T1 options for mid- late game. The new T1s are more like T2s (also in upkeep, some more expensive than some t2s) Finally some real possibilities who are not useless fodder later on. Choices as to which faction to ally become even more important...go for the 'easy' goblins for the early alchemist? Halflings for the deadly scout who evades melee? Lizards for the sturdy turtleback? Elf ranger for the deadly shoot/spell combo? choices choices.... And if u are lucky to find an adventurer's guild the early game becomes almost a walkover:) A must for anyone looking for a more interesting mid-late game, not even considering any of additional events, items etc
