Defense Grid: Resurgence Map Pack 2 DLC

Before I review this map pack, let me say this: I played this nice game a couple of years ago. Mostly because of that Portal cross-over DLC. But somehow it managed to pull me in a ton. And that is exactly why I own this map pack. I just wanted to support the nice developers. This map pack is actually a very cheap thing. And that's a really nice price for the content. You will have some additional playtime here. I like dlc's that increase the overall playtime. Therefore, I am giving this a positive review.

While this DLC map pack does very little to encourage the game to be anything more than it already is, at the honest and completely inoffensive price of 99 cents, it's hard to rise a complaint to simply more maps. If you like playing Defense Grid, look into this. It's not a must-have, so if you're clinging to that dollar, play the base game first to make an informed choice.

It looks more like a cheap mobile game. Very bad mouse control. Almost no balance. The towers are quite weak and too expensive. Your only help is a slow charging laser. Almost everything is similar in the game tower enemies unless you get too close. Boring repetitive levels the same. There is no level of difficulty and they are played as if they were the last time. I don't even know if it's worth it even with a discount.

Overall, it doesn't take too long to get the 14 required gold medals for the five achievements.
