I loved the old toy story games but remote play doesn't work... false advertisement and apparently it's a wii port missing content

Would not load it at all. I just wanted to relive playing this game, but I guess I can't. 0/10

Do not buy. I read somewhere that this version is a port from the psp. Missing content, bad optimization. For anyone with nostalgic value this game will not play how you remember it from the 360 days. Truly sad, this game was a good one.

They removed content from the toybox mode (which is literally the best part of this game) for example, on the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions in the toybox mode you fought Hamm at the end, but in this version you don't, and there was also an entire seperate area with Bo Peep and the hedgehog guy (forgot his name) that was cut. I recommend getting it on sale if it's below 10 dollars because what is there isn't bad, it's just incomplete and for 20 dollars base price I can't recommend it

This game lacks of content. More than half of the xbox360 or ps3 missions or contents are not in this game. Good for a few hours to remember the good old childhood memories but this wont recover them. You can finish the whole game in 5 hours. Please make a update for this game

The screenshots are completely wrong and so is the trailer, those are the Xbox 360/PS3 versions of the game, this steam port is the Wii version and I do not recommend as it has significantly less content and even worse graphics, just get this game on a PS3 emulator, or buy it for PS3

I think this game does a great job of letting the player explore and interact with the Toy Story world in fairly engaging ways, which makes it worth playing for those looking for a simple game who enjoy these characters. It is split into two parts, the story mode and the toy box. The story mode, while entertaining, is very short at only about 4 hours. There's a handful of collectibles that aren't too tricky to find that unlock things in the toy box which add some small replayability.
The Toy Box is where the bulk of the content is and is definitely worth exploring. It's set up as a small open world featuring themes from the Toy Story universe (and even some other Pixar films). You get to explore on your own, helping other characters with various quests which unlock new toys to play with. These can be as simple as costumes or paint for buildings and characters, or things like new areas of the Toy Box.
Now, as many other reviews state, this is unfortunately the paired down Wii version of the game. So it is missing many of the elements that made the Toy Box so memorable when the game originally released. However, given that this is the easiest way to legally experience the game for most folks I still think it is worth it on sale. It goes on sale for $5 pretty frequently. Alternatively, you could also get the Disney Infinity 1.0 Gold Edition which has the Toy Story in Space campaign. It's not quite as fun imo, but has very similar gameplay and it also has campaigns for a bunch of other Disney/Pixar properties.
