There's a very roundabout way to get it working with bots. Multiplayer is not an option for me as the servers with the most players are over 200 ping.

I really enjoy Day of Defeat. It's a very basic FPS WW2 shooter. The small DOD community's in different servers motivates me to return and try my best against these veteran players. I catch myself playing hours into it because of how invested I become when players start talking and having a good time. The admins keep their server lobby's in order to enjoy your experience. The more you log in and play you will notice a lot of familiar names in your games. That is the chance to introduce yourself and make friends to enhance your games.

this is my favorite game to play at 2 AM because i join a lobby and find two old men who were probably alive during this war talking in voice chat, a hacker, and at least 12 bots
