This game checks all the boxes. Incredible art, music, and clever writing.
The gameplay is easy to learn/hard to master at first. I had to remind myself of the roguelike mechanic and that it's normal to die repeatedly while learning strategies and building your deck. With noticeable differences to the deck upgrades each run, it makes you want to keep playing to make further progress. It reminds me a lot of Dead Cells or Hades from that aspect.
It's already a great game in early access, I'm excited to see how it looks as the official release!
