Probably one of the better idle games out there. Insanely active dev and helpful community. Tons of skills to grind out, with fleshed out content. There is no correct way to play, you can play as efficient or as creative as you like. After 73 hours on steam I can safely say I'm addicted.

Even for an idle game, this requires nearly no player input for very long periods of time (I just spent 30 hours smelting bars, and it's going to be another 20 hours to turn them into shields, and this won't even get me to level 100 smithing from level 90). This is the general gameplay loop - you click a button and something happens for 10s of hours, then you click a different button and repeat. There's also basically no player agency - as others have commented, the game feels very railroaded, where you just have to level certain skills at a given point to continue working on what you want to. This might be okay if the game had an offline mode, but it doesn't. You need to run your computer the entire time the game is running. Worse, the game is a serious resource hog. It's constantly using 13-15% of my CPU and nearly 2 GB of RAM regardless of what I'm doing. Other idle games are 0.5-2% of CPU and 50-300 MB of RAM for comparison. Due to lack of interaction, lack of player choice, and extremely poor performance I can't recommend this. It might become good but right now it isn't.

A game made by 1 person. Most spectacular. Regular updates. A 2D version of runescape without the multiplayer aspect. If Melvor Idle and Runescape had a baby this game would be it.

I wish Steam had a neutral review option. I really want to like this game, but it feels like you never make real progress. You hit level 100 (the max level), then prestige and start over, but the level cap increases by 100 (up to 1000). You gain double XP and other small bonuses, but the XP requirement obviously increases as well. I could honestly write a ton about this, but other reviews already cover the same points I would mention. (Also no offline progression, that’s why I have so many hours, with many more to come.) Pros: You don’t have to worry about this game being abandoned because the developer is very active on Discord. Updates are released almost every week, about 90% of the time. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t choose this idle game to go for 100% achievements, at least not in its current state.

Yeah, it's EA, but it feels very, VERY unfinished. It's basically a Melvor Idle clone, but where you move around a map. And ironically, it has way less depth than Melvor Idle does. If you want to play a OSRS idle game, try Melvor Idle. This game needs to fleshed out more.

If you want an idle game that's a bit different, then you've come to the right place. Most idle games are purely text based but this one has very nice and pleasant pixel art to look at, including your very own little cute Bloob to control! It has it flaws to be sure, but it's still in Early Access so that's to be expected, but it can only improve and become better over time. There's already plenty of different skills to train and activities to do whenever you feel like doing something else than what you're currently training. The only thing I wish for to be added is some form of offline progression, if not for all skills then at least for gathering and processing skills, but as I understand it there's plans to add some form of offline progression in the future and I'm looking forward to that. The developer is very friendly and helpful on the discord, and also very active in updating and improving on this game! Looking forward to seeing all the cool content to be added!

I play a lot of idle games and was drawn to this one by the presentation. This has to be one of the worst idler's I've ever played, it certainly holds up to its name, you'll have this game running for years if you want to make any progress.

Not an idle game at all. You permanently run out of resources to actually idle and have to change what you are doing every few minutes. It feels more like a non idle game where things are exhaustingly slow. There is not even offline progress so you can farm ores, lumber, etc over night. Also this game lacks variety. It's very linear and you are not progressively unlocking new unique content. You are just doing the same things over and over again but the resources have other names.

game has potential but still feel really empty, missing the excitement of getting upgrades, there isnt much of a goal, no cool items/upgrades to farm for, only golden items which only purpose is to sell for gold, game has no offline progress as of yet too will come back to it hopefully with better changes to come
