this game has alot of potential.. the atmosphere is unmatched and the permadeath adds so much immersion and feeling of loss when you watch a fellow responder turn in front of you. theres bugs and some performance issues but please understand that this is an alpha build on unreal 5. if u have an average gaming pc build by todays standards can run this game pretty good on medium graphics id assume as i run the game on high with an 8gb 4060 & ryzen 5 7600. i came into this game pretty un biased as ive never really played the first game so i dont see what all the hate is for. this is a unique co op zombie experience and i cant wait to see where it goes. 7/10 and thats only due to EA problems and lack of content (which im sure more is to come)

It can be pretty fun but it ultimately feels kind of repetitive and idk it just feels like its missing that THING that makes it addictive. Idk for what it is, its okay. It can be pretty fun here and there.

I was a bit hesitant to buy the game after reading some of the negative reviews, but as a frequent NMRIH 1 player, I decided to give it a try. It successfully captures the tense atmosphere and teamwork of the original, and the community is nice. The game is heading in the right direction. I’ve encountered a few bugs, but no crashes (yet). Considering it’s still in early access, I hope it continues to improve and eventually becomes as good as its predecessor.

Fun game, more in line of what No More Room In Hell 1 offered. One thing I do find fucking ridiculous and stupid is that when you clear out an area and think you've finally caught a break. Zombies will, no matter what, spawn out of thin fucking air just to go and beat your ass again. It is really unfortunate and I wish they'd fix that because clearing out a house with 20-30 zombies just to loot a little and turn around to see another 10+ zombies is extremely frustrating and has gotten me killed multiple times.

crazy how much work you guys have put into this game..and it still doesnt function. step one, make one map and work out all the kinks of rapid re-spawning zombies, make less pocket losses half way through any interaction. The 3 maps (even though i only get put on the same one constantly) all are almost...dare i say unplayable. i mean look at all the youtube videos, you still havent fixed the basics of a shooter, let alone an open world, perma death zombie game.

Considering the game is still in early access I am willing to give it a fair shot. It has some mechanics that give it an edge over the first game. The only thing missing right now is maps and the survival gamemode. The current maps are great, but there is only 4 so far. There are bugs, which I assume will be fixed in the future. The team seems to be actively working on the game, adding maps, weapons and quality of life changes. I really like the game, I've played 13.9 hours over just a few days, I've been addicted to it. If you enjoyed the objective mode of the original game, get this game on discount.

Extremely fun co-op experience Originally had my doubts as I came in from NMRIH 1 and the two games are too different from each other, but it managed to change my opinion after playing it. What's cool is that it even has the main menu music from the first game. Positives VERY FUN Atmospheric, you feel like you're in an actual apocalypse Permadeath Characters adds a risk to all your actions Negatives The game has a lot of bugs (given since it's in early access) Performance issues Lack of content (slowly changing over time) Overall if I had to choose, I'd choose mixed review if I was given a choice but just to get the game more attention, I'm giving it a positive. The game deserves much more attention and as well as content. At it's current state, BUY on SALE or if you genuinely want to invest on the game's future.

Pros; -Maps are all great, visually diverse and look great too. -Guns feel good to use and all seem balanced well, making all of them a viable option. -Infection is a great addition and adds to the tension. -Character levelling feels worthwhile, with skills not being to broken but making it feel rewarding to max a character out. -Zombies are oppressive in a good way and remind me of the feeling i got when being overrun in L4D2. -Game encourages players to work together to complete objectives and share loot ammo and meds to survive. -Performs well (for me at least) -Gameplay loop and the changes to objectives on each map make the re-playability fun (more diversity on each map or a few more maps and this will be a great thing, but is good as is so far). Cons; -Melee weapons feel lack-luster and two handed is worthless most of the time as you cant see when using them as all maps are dark and their one handed options don't seem to do much damage. -Needs more weapon variations. -Needs more character customisation. Overall I've really enjoyed my time so far, glad i finally brought the game, it seems close to what it should have been at launch, hopefully they keep on with the updates. I'd like to see a solo mode added to the game for additional challenge.
