Despite using socialist imagery and words, democracy 3 has continued to fail to provide any decent gameplay for anarchists or anything more libertarian than Stalin on the left side of the spectrum. The closest you can get to the syndie utopia is full self employment, which is pro-capitalist in this game because dumbass liberals.

This is a good Dlc that adds a nice amount of things for a moderate price,my only hate with this mod is that it is diffucult for new players to understand,but apart from that the Dlc allows the player to play Democracy 3 in a completly new way with a more extreme society,this mod is very fun to mess around with but the results can also be very enjoyable when you do it right.

I absolutely love this DLC, people say it could be done in a mod but the implenentation would be poor. However Cliff Harris the games's developer implemented it perfectly. I love forcing news reporters singing the national anthem. It makes it easier to recreate an authoritarian dictatorship laden with patriotism. LOVE IT

I really love Democracy 3, even though it has it's flaws.
But what I really cannot understand is why the Game is translated to German, and the DLC isn't.
Gives me a not so nice mix of languages when playing.
But besides that, it's just awesome :)

After this expansion I have hard time to NOT-get elected. Flags on streetcorners and couple nationalistic songs and I'm ready to put machineguns to the hands of the police and get the curfew going from 8 am. to 10 pm. Death penalty is a rule more than a exception. Ethnic clensings was just a clever thing to get votes away from the other guy.
Still it's fun as hell. I think I have made some scary utopia. Everyone is healthy, almost everyone is wealthy and happy. Still haven't found a way to get rid off the commies and liberals for good...

Just pulled off winning the game by establishing a communist utopia.
10/10 will eat the rich again
EDIT: i do have to admit i would like to see further expansion upon the socialist-extremist policies, they did feel a little lacking compared to the nationalist and right wing actions you could choose

[b]Democracy 3[/b] is, at its core, a sandbox game where you tell story using a bunch of sliders that make happy green arrows and sad red arrows. This DLC is a significant expansion on the tools that allow you to expand the scope of your sandbox. Some directions may be more fleshed out than others, there is plenty here to experiment with especially once mods enter the picture.

Does what it says in the title, Adds some nice touches to the gameplay to help make your country more extreme, Want to be a communist utopia then Tax the super rich or Ban second Homeownership. Make your country more nationalist then have children sing the national anthen in schools or even the news presenter! Close airports to help the environment or get polititions and the military to swear religious oauths or even ban foreign religions the choices are upto you and this dlc helps create you ideal extremist society.

This DLC is the best way to explain what Democracy 3 is all about: experimentation. Some people are so focused on "winning the game" that they miss the point. You don't "win" the game, you set yourself an objective and then experiment to get it done.
It's a strategy game. You have an objective and then develop a strategy to achieve your goal. Simple as that. The policies in extremisim are an additional challenge for which you must plan carefully. You just can't pull some extreme policy right away and not expect some backlash. You need to work your way up there.
This game really is a sandbox and the Extermism DLC just opens up more doors to this. The game doesn't tell you "you should do this or that", the game just gives you many path to achieve what you had in mind in the first place. Highly recommended.
